Step1 Decide on the kind of plan you want. You can buy inexpensive plans to build a skateboard mini-ramp, or sketch out your own plans.

Step2 Plan the size of the skateboard mini-ramp to build. Most mini-ramps are 8 feet wide and a bit over 2 feet tall.

Step3 Find a large workspace for your plans and tools. == Step1 Place a piece of 3/4-inch plywood on a flat surface. Draw a straight line up the right-hand side, measuring to the highest point of the mini-ramp. This is usually about 24 to 28 inches.

Step2 Draw another straight line out to the left toward the center of your plywood board, measuring about 2 feet. This is the deck.

Step3 Sketch a straight line along the bottom of the skateboard mini-ramp, about 5 feet. This is the bottom of the mini-ramp.

Step4 Connect the top of the deck to the endpoint of the bottom using a curved line for the ramp. It is a good idea to use a half-circle drawing tool so the curve is true. == Step1 Cut along the lines using a skil-saw so the curves are smooth.

Step2 Repeat on a second piece of plywood for the other side.

Step3 Connect the two sides with 2-by-4's. Make sure they are at intervals frequent enough to support the mini-ramp.

Step4 Use a single sheet of 3/8-inch plywood for the actual mini-ramp section, bending it to fit over the curve.

Step5 Finish rough edges.

After nearly 20 years and millions of quarters, someone has attained the unthinkable: a perfect score on Pac-Man. The world record was set by 33-year-old Billy Mitchell of Hollywood, Florida, during a US-Canada clash over the Fourth of July weekend. Mitchell took more than six hours to complete the game at the Funspot Family Fun Center in Weirs Beach, New Hampshire.

To achieve the game's maximum score of 3,333,360 points, Mitchell navigated 256 boards (or screens), eating every single dot, blinking energizer blob, flashing blue ghost, and point-loaded fruit, without losing a single life. In May, one of the Canadians, Rick Fothergill, came within 90 points of the perfect score while playing at the Funspot arcade, described as the world's second-largest arcade, with about 500 games. The foursome set a Fourth of July weekend rendezvous for their head-to-head competition.

Mitchell said he came very close to setting the record on the first day of the holiday weekend -- 1 July which, coincidentally, is Canada Day -- but a kid pulled the plug about four hours into the game.

its a 360 flip with a backside body varial together. its like a big spin but its a tre instead of a 360 shuv-it.

Carving on a skateboard is similar to leaning to turn on a snow board. Also the balance of riding is about the same as a skateboard. A snow board includes more movements in the ankles than skateboarding does. Id say the two are very similar over all. If you are snow boarding for the first time after having been a skater, you will find that you don't turn as easy, therefore you must move your ankles into the lean of your body. If you are skating for the first time after having been a snowboarder, balance on a skateboard and turning and what not, will be fairly easy for you. Hope this helps.

The best skateboard is the Element board. I don't know how someone thought it was World Industries and/or Darkstar. They suck!!!! Element is awesome! World Industries and Darkstar were actually tied... FOR WORST SKATEBOARD BRANDS EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But never but the full board, get the deck, wheels, trucks, bearings and griptape. Then go to a skateshop and ask the manager to put the board together for you.

There both amazing bearings. i currently own bone Swiss and have skated ceramics before. i personally like ceramics better because they feel just a bit faster and they have a less likely hood of breaking if you land to hard

A half-cab, also known as the 180 Pop-shuvit, uses a typical 180 and a pop-shuvit combined. If you want it to look clean when you land it, do a frontside 180 instead of a backside 180.

Answer First you need to build a frame for it for the decking to sit on. Need to mount a 2x4 or 2x6 board that goes across the open on the door. Ofset this board down the height of the thinkness of the decking material that you will be using for the ramp top itself. It makes mouting look cleaner if you cut the front top of this board in the angle that the ramp will be heading. This will make it flush at the top. Then you will need 2x4 or 2x6 boards that will be along the sides of the frame. Then you need a board about every foot in between these sides. The sides and middle boards should be cut at angles at the top and bottom so the they mount flush with the top board and the ground. You can just toe-tail these boards to the top door way board. When this is done then just nail or screw the top decking boards down (ramp boards). I hope I explained that clear enough. Good luck.

If you are a real skateboarder who goes out at least three or four times a week and really puts down tricks- these shoes WILL. BLOW. OUT. The soles are garbage, the synthetic leather they use is garbage and everything about them is garbage. It's hard for me to even believe Erik Ellington backs these hot steaming piles of garbage.

First they used wheels off roller skates, then eventually someone started making wheels that were almost roller skate wheels, but just a little adapted to do better on a skateboard.
