Well, to start I will tell you what twin tips are just in case you don't know. Twin tips are skis that have tails (the back) that are exactly the same as the nose (the front) in that they usually have the same dimensions and always are bent upwards the same amount as the front, simple enough. Partial twin tips have tails that are bent upwards a little bit, still allowing the skier to be able to ski backwards safely, but not as much as the nose.
Ski runs at ski resorts vary wildly in width. Most resorts in the US Northeast tend to be narrower than out West (USA). I believe Europe also has very wide runs.
The narrowest downhill runs are generally about 30 feet wide. Most average runs are about 100 feet wide. The resort will call some traversing trails a "run" and name them, some of them can be very narrow, 10 or 15 feet wide. At the wide end, there are runs that cover an entire mountside. The resort may divide it into different "runs" for naming purposes. The resorts like to "boost" the number of runs they can quote in their advertisements.
Does turkey have any mountains?
One of the most historically interesting mountains in found in the Ağrı region of Turkey, Ağrı Dağı (in Turkish, Mountain of Pain) also know as Mt. Ararat is widely thought to be the most likely landing site of Noah's ark and has been the site of continued archaeological study. It was also the center of the ancient Armenian civilization. Another historically important mountain is Nemrut (in English, Nimrod) Mountain in southeastern Turkey, which is home to huge ruins of an ancient tomb built in 62 BC as well as damaged parts of statues which once stood 8 meters high. Also important is Uludağ, located in Bursa, famous throughout Turkey for its skiing opportunities as well as it's water. The southern part has the Taurus Mountains. Taurus Mountains (Turkish: Toros Dağları) are a mountain complex in southern Turkey, from which the Euphrates and Tigris descend. It divides the Mediterranean coastal region of southern Turkey from the central Anatolian Plateau.
You can but not recommended.
Like when putting a screw in wood, if you take it out and insert a new screw the fit is not going to be snug and therefore increasing the risk of failure.
You also have to be careful about water penetration. When fitting bindings you must put glue in the holes to stop any water getting in freezing and expanding. This is a vicious circle because the bigger the hole the more water gets in freezes, expands and makes an even bigger hole. Again causing the screw to fail.
The better option is to take your ski's to a professional who will remove the bindings fill in the existing holes with plastic pegs (they exist in many colours to match the graphics of your skis) and re-drill the holes using the correct jig that matches the binding screw pattern. If need be they will also be able to fit a special plug designed to be used when binding screws fail.

When does the Cataloochee Ski Area open for the season?
The Cataloochee Ski Area does not have a specific open date. This is in part due to the unknown weather conditions that the season will bring, as snow is required for them to open. Historically speaking, they open in late November.

The environmental impacts of skiing and snowboarding?
There are several direct and indirect impacts from skiing. I'll just list a few and hopefully others will add some more.
1. Building at High Altitude
Ski areas ten to be at relatively high altitudes. This might mean 4000 feet in Vermont or 12000 feet in New Mexico, but high relative to the region. This has a disproportionate impact on watersheds as everyone is downstream of pollution.
Furthermore, high altitude ecosystems tend to be more fragile and recover slowly, so there can be greater impacts on wildlife and vegetation by the mere presence of people. Animals in their weakened winter state being disrupted by people is a major concern. Considerations of impacts on black bears was a major stumbling block for development at Killington for many year. With respect to vegetation that grows slowly at altitude, skiers who are skiing the trees and cutting up vegetation can have a negative impact as well.
Habitat fractioning. Again, but building at altitude, far from where people would build if not for the ski area, you put roads, driveways and other manmade obstacles that divide up habitat, force animals to cross through traffic and have other effects.
Finally, high altitude often means visible from a long distance, so there are major visual impacts. I love to ski and have skied all my life, but ski areas leave a terrible scar on a mountain.
2. Snowmaking
Watersheds have reduced flow in winter and often the watersheds near ski areas, because they are near the source, have low flows. So drawing off water to make snow can cause disproportionate damage to riparian (riverbank) habitats. This is why ski areas are often forced to build large lagoons to mitigate these problems, but there's not getting around the fact that drawing that much water from a small source has impacts (as does drinking bottled spring water - always buy filtered water, not spring water if you care about environmental impacts).
3. Carbon Outputs.
Ski lifts, resort lodges and all that take a lot of energy. Snowmaking is the king - when I was patrolling at Sugarbush and they brought the new snowmaking compressors online, the surge blew lines off the poles and blacked out the whole valley! Finally, people drive, or worse, fly long distances to skiing quite often, so that leads to a major carbon output.
There are others. If you want greener alternatives to resort skiing, try backcountry skiing or boarding in one of its many forms. Obviously, some of the impacts remain (you're still driving, you're still buying gear), but it reduces the environmental and financial cost of the sport considerably.
Don't get me wrong, I will continue to ski and teach at resorts, and the primary reason I prefer backcountry skiing is because I just love being the backcountry and would prefer it if everyone else stayed at the resorts! But since you asked about impacts....
I think Santa Fe is one of the highest in the continental United States.

Can you mount any binding to k2 apache skis?
You can mount most bindings to K2 skis that are "flat" which do not have the built in metal flanges. Be sure to check the width of the brake so it will fit the width of the ski. For example the 09/10 Apache Xplorers come flat which have a smooth surface to drill and mount your bindings. They also came with integrated bindings that mount onto metal flanges that are built into the skis. You can only use the Marker MX binding with this ski as far as I know. I would call K2 in Washington and ask about the specific Apache ski you are interested in. The phone number is 800-426-1617 .
Good Luck!

What is the best ski and pole carrier?
The Bowtie Ski and Pole carrier is getting many great reviews on the Amazon site. It is a very simple ski carrier / sling. It uses hook and loop and elastic and nylon webbing in a unique way that makes it easy to put on, makes it work well for what folks want in a ski carrier. It is really different than any other ski carrier.
I have several and can say that it goes on easily, holds skis and poles snug and the handle strap adjusts so it works as a hand, shoulder or back sling carrier. After all that it folds up to be easily pocketed. It does exactly what most of us want a ski carrier to do.
Check out the reviews on Amazon or go to the home page and watch the short video clip and see what you think. It looks like it lives up to the slogan of being "Simply the finest" Ski and Pole Carrier / Sling
Search for Bowtie Ski video or search for the Bowtie Products home page for more info.

Is it correct grammar to say where do you going skiing?
No. The correct formulation would be "Where are you going skiing?"
What is the name for stopping on snow skis technique?
It depends on how you do it. If you point the tips towards each other, it is called plowing, though when taught to beginning kids it is sometimes referred to as the 'pizza stop'.
I'm not sure what it is called if you just slide sideways. I just call it stopping.
When you "slide" sideways it's called hockey stopping. It is actually much more effective at even slightly higher speeds. Snowplowing (same as plowing, just a different name) can really hurt your knees. I have a cousin who is just about to turn 14 but she has to wear knee braces skiing because she snowplows at high speed way too much.
