old wives tale that seems to work in our house -

warm some milk, put a small piece of bread in the milk and let it soak up as much milk as possible. Remove the bread, letting the excess milk drip out. I know this sounds disgusting, but tape the milk-soaked bread to the sore and go to sleep. In the morning there will be no more pus. The bread/milk works as a suction to remove any pus and liquid. This allows you to combat the rest of the infection (if there is any left) by an antibacterial ointment.

First: DO NOT SCRUB. Scrubbing it will make it worse. Second, icing for 15-30 seconds will help with the size and the redness. Third, try finding an over-the-counter benzoyl peroxide, (but make sure it doesn't have any pore clogging ingredients and if you've never used benzoyl peroxide before, start off using it gradually) with sulfur in it. The sulfur really makes the benzoyl work harder and will help with the inflamation. Below is a list of pore clogging ingredients to avoid. You can print it out, bring with you to the store and check products before you buy them.

This stuff works magic for me and I think it's relatively new. Revlon ColorStay Aqua I think is the full name. Not only does it cover up acne, it covers up scars, liver spots (if you have them), bruises, and other spots on your face that is not the right color. It also has moisturizer in it, and it makes your skin soft. They use coconut milk to moisturize, though, so if your worried about it causing acne, it won't. It makes me look like I'm glowing I think because it gives me (like they say in the makeup ads) an "airbrushed" finish. Make sure you find the right color. It's kind of pricey at $12 dollars, but it amazing what this stuff can do for you. AMAZING! You can find it at your local Target. Hope I helped!

The most important step in preventing pimples is to keep your skin very clean, and to remove layers of dead skin (this process is also known as exfoliation). In theory you can clean your skin with toothpaste, but really, toothpaste is better suited for cleaning the teeth; you can use any kind of soap on the face.

Anything is possible and you should see a doctor immediately to have it diagnosed. They will take a tissue sample to see if it's cancerous or not. Even if it is skin cancer is one of the cancers that is most curable. My friend's husband just had a minor operation on his hand (skin cancer) and it didn't hurt and all is well and should remain well, but when he keeps going in for his physicals each year his doctor will make more of an effort to check out his body for possible skin cancer. You could have Excema or Psoriasis, still, it's important to get it checked out.

I just tried it for the first time last night. I didn't rub it in, as I read not to. It definitely looks like it helped a bit. I am going to try it again tonight too. I've heard it clogs pores, so I am not going to do it every night. I am also using it for spots only, not my entire face. Hope this helps.

you pop them then you look beautiful Actually, popping zits spreads the umm... "inner pimple" around your face (no matter how much you wash your face after) and gives you more zits. Just use cover up until the zit dries up. Trust me, you do NOT want to pop zits. In the long run it will scar your face and just hurt. Don't touch it, and it will go away.

You can immediately stop using proactive. If the skin is irritated, you could try treating your skin with aloe vera.

It depends on the way the doctor does the procedure. Usually they inject the abscess with lidocaine to numb the area before draining it. This process is pretty painful because they use a very large needle to inject the lidocaine and it burns when injected into your skin but the burning sensation only lasts a few seconds then you dont feel it anymore. After injecting the lidocaine the doctor will make a small incision into the abscess with a scalpel. If the doctor administered the lidocaine correctly and put a good amount you shouldn't feel this part (make sure you ask the doctor to really numb the area well because the 1st time I had an abscess drained the doctor didnt put enough lidocaine and I felt him cut me open which is the most painful thing to feel). After opening the abscess the doctor will then squeeze all the pus out and this part hurts pretty bad because they have to squeeze the area really hard so that they can get as much pus out as possible. Depending on how hard the doctor squeezes the abscess it usually only takes 2 to 3 squeezes. Afterwards the doctor will put packing into the abscess so that it remains open and drains any remaining fluid and this part will either feel really uncomfortable or it will sting really bad, for me it stung (lucky me) and after that they will put gauze over the area and tape the edges up (the tape is extremely frustrating because it sometimes leaves a lot of sticky stuff on you and it kind of hurts to take it off). After the entire procedure is done you will feel slight pain from time to time and the area will feel slightly sore, but this doesnt last too long. Unfortunately the entire process of having an abscess is painful from beginning to end and its not pleasant at all. The doctor will prescribe you antibiotics and pain medication to stay on and you must take it so it doesnt return or get infected. You will be asked to return 2 days later to remove the packing which doesnt hurt, but if it needs to be repacked for further drainage that will sting really really bad as well because they dont inject you with lidocaine the second time. I know this might scare you but it has to be done, dont let it go because it can eventually spread to other parts of your body and enter your blood stream and then you will have a serious problem.

its a little red bump. like a pimple with no pus. they're from shavin when you're hair is still a prickle. just use a tweezers to remove it. it might hurt a little but it gets rid of it. this can often happen from shavin your underarms frequently. again, just use a tweezers to remove all the hair growning on/in the bump.
