I have written about this in quite some detail and the answer in short is: Death. That could be us or them, whoever defends themselves first. Some aliens are just as weak as me and you and some are very strong, most can be killed by shooting, some can be killed by stabbing, just remember if you don't kill them, they will almost definitely kill you (95% chance). Even if they choose to keep you for testing first they will probably kill you after they have got what they want; when you have made contact with an alien there is not going back unless you defend yourself by killing them. I have to disagree with Leslie. I think that you CAN still be pregnant when you are on your period.
It is possible but highly unlikely. Most pregnancies can't sustain the amount of bleeding that normally occurs with a period. A small percentage of woman will have a light or short period and still be pregnant.
We'll the chances of that are very minimal, the main reason for that is that there is no actual proof. The maya's in fact have some proof they have like pretty long "airstrips". But in my opinion and how i see it, the chances are 1/100000 there are any other lifeforms in our universe.

Can aliens be friends with humans?
There's no conclusive proof that aliens (in the sense of non-human extraterrestrial intelligences) actually exist. If they do, it's at least possible that they could be friendly.
Why should extraterrestrials negate religion?
Even the Bible doesn't exclude the possibility - "God created the heavens and the earth" allows for things to be in "the heavens", but just doesn't say what/who/where.

Why would seeing things in the sky you can't identify, cause people to lose their religious beliefs? UFOs are already known worldwide. People in Botswana, for example, are just as likely to mistake Venus or an airplane for something unknown, as people from the USA.
Some people think alien spacecraft have something to do with UFOs. To date, not one alien spacecraft has ever been mistaken for something unknown in the sky, to the best of anyone's' knowledge.
There has never been the first shred of hard evidence that aliens even exist, let alone travel here. Someone has to be the first form of intelligent life in the Universe, and it might well be us.
And why would aliens, if they did show up, rob people of their faith? Religion will be here long after the last UFO buff admits we are apparently alone.
Technically, humans are not a type of alien, since the word 'alien' pertains to 'foreign', and humans are not foreign. However, if there is another intelligent species that is out in space, humans would be alien to them. It all depends on your perspective.

They can come from anywhere, but normally the term is applied either to people from other countries, or creatures from other planets (the latter type being as yet entirely fictional).

The Roswell crash site. The video tape of alien autopsies by the military. These are just a few of the arguments for why aliens exist.
Aliens are persons that are not a citizen of your country. If you are in the US, a Canadian would be an alien. If you were a US Citizen in Canada, YOU would be an alien.
