When Bella is about to start her first day at Forks High School, she thinks to herself not to worry, "no one is going to bite" her. there's a little.

Later when she gets the idea that Edward is a vampire, she has a dream, where Edward is there as a vampire, but then Jacob turns into a wolf. that foreshadows for New Moon.

At the prom, when Jacob come to give Bella the message from billy, Edward says later that he leaves Bella for a moment and "the wolves descend", more foreshadowing for New Moon when we find out Jacob is a werewolf.

From looking at wikipedia, there are two sequels planned for the host but unannounced for the release. The next sequel is "The Soul" then after that will be "The Seeker"

An addition to the last answer. The answer is of course the battle against the newborns, and when Victoria and Riley fight Seth, Edward and Bella.

If you don't want to know who wins each battle well don't read on, spoilers contained!

The battle between the newborns and the Cullens and wolves, is won by the Cullens and wolves.

Between Victoria and Edward its obviously Edward.

Between Seth (wolf) and Riley (with some help from Edward) its Seth.

After the battle is won (which the Cullens don't know will happen, becasue Alice is 'blind', bacause of the involvement of the pack), the Volturi come to visit to destroy the newborns, which, if you havn't read the bit where Jasper explains this, is very bad in the vampire world.

Just in case you havn't read it I'll explain.

Jasper started out as a human, (ovibiously), but the outward signs of his ability shown through. He was in the conferderate army, during the American Civil war, and quickly rose in the ranks.

One day Maria came and turned him vamp, for her army.

The southern vamps where having wars over 'feeding' territory. Since newborns are stronger, the 'army leaders', for lack of a better term, wanted them. Jasper was vey succesfull.

Too make a long story short, the southern vamp wars where creating a lot of mess, and the Volturi wern't happy. They killed all newborns (Jasper was past the newborn stage)

When Edward chased Victoria through Texas, it is likely she got the idea for a newborn vampire army there.

So she did.

After all the killings in seattle (the creation of the army) the Volturi decided to intervine. They convientaly waited till after the battle. In fact, only Jane came. This is another climax, because the Volturi, really want Bella to die.

The climax is most definitely when the group of newborns are nearly at the clearing and everyone is preparing for battle. Once the battle takes place, and Victoria finds Edward and Bella, the climax grows, with Edward and Seth having to fight Victoria and her companion.

Stephenie Meyer got the idea of the Twilight Saga because one night she couldn't sleep so she took sleeping pills. That night Meyer dreamed of the whole four books, not one, all of them! Meyer dreamed of the names of the characters one night, then the next she dreamed of the covers of the books. She called an artist to describe them to and draw them. She said the meaning of the Twilight hands were in Bella's holding the forbidden fruit which is in the Bible. The flower on New Moon is for the beauty in her life (Edward). The Eclipse cover, her life is on a thread. And, the Breaking Dawn cover is she moves from a low player to a higher player. Then, she improved it by adding other details. But the freaky thing is, Stephenie dreamed of everything: Forks, Washington, Bella's name, Edward, the meadow the Volturi. Are you sure they were sleeping pills Stephenie?

Ok, good job. That makes sense. But I read that she dreamed about Edward and Bella in the meadow, and then she kept building on it. Eventually she had Twilight and then she just kept going and got New Moon and Eclipse. It really took her a while to write Breaking Dawn but she did and had to rewrite the ending like a thousand times. Then they were all published. Finally the idiot from Hollywood found the book in a shop in New York and brought it back to Hollywood thus the Twilight people cared about was born. When the movie came out it was so over done that half the people who liked it now hate it. Then New Moon came out and no one cared. And here we are. Thanks for reading.

And actually it was once called Forks, but no one except for Meyer liked it so her publisher changed it to Twilight

I don't really think so, but, everybody says breaking dawn is the last in the twilight saga(not to mention midnight sun[it's only edward's view of twilight]) but I do hope she'll make one for Nessie and Jacob.

(This is a different person) People say that it is the last book in the Twilight Saga series. That is just one series. There can be two series with the same characters and the plots can be somewhat they same. The author left it open for another book, so I think she will start a new series about Jacob and Nessie. She left that part wide open. There is no way that she can't make another book. She has to!

On the cover of Twilight, the book, it's just someone holding an apple. (In the movie, Edward scares Bella, then Bella drops her apple and Edward made it "slide" so that he can catch it in his hands.)

At the end of New Moon, Edward attempts suicide after Rosalie mistakenly tells him that Bella jumped off of a cliff and killed herself. When Bella and Alice find out that he requests that the Volturi kill him, they get on a plan and fly to Italy to stop him. They succeed, and bring him back to Forks where Bella and Edward continue their relationship.
