I have been on suboxone for 2 yrs and recently went off it. I quit it on a Monday, and didn't notice anything for a few days, then the withdrawls kicked in. I was depressed, with diarreah, and cold and hot sweats and an overall feeling of pure exaustion. It's been a little over a week now and I'm slowly feeling better each day. I still can't stay asleep though. I thought the suboxone was a wonderful drug to get me off my lortab addiction, but they always told me there wouldn't be any withdrawl with the suboxone. They lied.

you should wait about 48 hours. But you should never take opiates for recreational use, because you could become severely addicted and jeopardize your financial/emotional stability and inter-personal relationships.

Keep in mind that the metabolisation of subs also depends on frequency of use, be it habitual, sparsley or barely ever at all. The more frequently you take it, the longer it tends to build up in your system (i.e. if you never take subs and do 4mg, it will likely stay in your system anywhere from twelve to twenty-four hours).Also, the effects of the subs tend to taper off the more time its in your system.

He stood out on the deck, mesmerised. The ocean glistened in the sunlight, shining the most brilliant blue. But the wall of water was looming closer and closer. He couldn't move his legs, or his mouth. Frozen. Inside his head, He knew if he had any chance of survival he had to run - now. He was terrified. Because although it looked too beautiful to be dangerous, it was going to destroy everything and everyone.

There was no time to save any possessions, there was barely enough time to save himself. He leapt out the back door and sprinted away down the street, as far away from the ocean as possible. Puffing, out of breath, he stole a quick glance over his shoulder. The wave was catching up on him. His foot caught on the uneven pavement, and his head was smacked against the path. A hot trickle of blood ran down over his eyes. His head was thumping and his vision became cloudy. He stumbled to his feet, but too late. The wave was upon him. This was the end.

He took a deep breath and then the water enveloped him. The air he had just inhaled was punched out of him. He was being crushed by the powerful rush of water. He thrashed around trying to find something to anchor himself to the ground with. Nothing. The washing machine water was throwing him around. He felt helpless, which was not a feeling a strong man was normally supposed to feel. He was washed away as if he was a piece of driftwood. There was nothing he could do about it. He was trapped beneath the surface of the ocean.

As the water started to settle he looked up and saw a glimmer of sunlight reflecting on the surface. But the light was too far away. He was too weak to fight, and he couldn't hold on any longer. His lungs were empty, he had nothing left. As water started to seep inside of him, he let go of everything. Slowly, slowly he sank to the bottom.

I was on suboxone for a year before I got pregnant with my son. My doctor told me that withdrawling off of the drug while pregnant could potentially kill the fetus due to the stress it would be under while detoxing. He also said it was unknown what would happen when he was born anad that I had a 50/50 shot of either him being ok, or having symptoms of withdrawl. So the question I had to ask myself is whether I would perfer to lose my chold due to the stress of coming of, or potentially havinga sick child for a couple of days. The choice was obvious to myself, and I sstayed on the medication. My son ended up staying in the NICU for 14 days. I was monitored like a hawk throught the whole pregnancy by my doctors and he was a healthy weight and a heathy baby although of the minor struggle he had at birth. I felt as though it was all my fault, but he is perfectly normal, healthy, and in the end he turned out to be perfect. I think although it was hard that I made the right decision and as long as you are under constant supervision everything will end up okay. The withdrawl was not nearly as bad as say other newborns withdrawling on the hard core drugs, you just have to let all doctors be completely aware of what is going on at all times. I hope this helps and that anyone that has to make this very difficult decision. For me the choice was easy. I have a beautiful healthy child that I might not have if I had chosen to come off it while pregnant. Good luck mommies.

I HAVE BEEN TAKING SUBOXONE FOR ABOUT TWO YEARS NOW AND ALTHOUGH IN MY OPINION IT IS THE BEST PILL EVER INVENTED, THERE ARE TIME IN WHICH YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE PAIN MEDICATION FOR SURGERIES, TOOTHACHES, CAR ACCIDENTS, ETC. I HAVE FOUNF THAT IT TAKE ME USUALLY 4-6 DAYS FOR IT TO LEAVE MY BODY WHEN I HAVE BEEN TAKING IT CONSISTENTLY OVER A LONGER PERIOD OF TIME. ANYONE WHO ATTEMPTS TO TAKE ANYTHING BEFORE IS WASTING THEIR TIME. THANK YOU

for starters you shoudnt be giving suboxene to your child period.. and if you are you should first.. call the state board you live in & tell them to take your child away from you because you should not even be allowed to look at a child let alone raise one.. secondly call a neurological doctor because you have something seriously wrong with your brain.

do not snort suboxone, it will not get you high, it is designed to really only work if taken sublingually. Plus that would hurt very bad, trust me just let it dissolve under your tongue or you won't feel anything.

I dont know how long it stays in your system but it will get you high if you snort it

I am no doctor but I have done it roughly every day for two years or so and had no problem what so ever. Just take it easy on your liver and dont take too many meds at once. Also drink a lot of water to help your body process things easier.

No, you will not go into withdrawls, however, it would be a waste of Diluadid since Suboxone is an opiod-blocker and keeps you from getting high off of any opiate. But if you were taking Dilaudid and then immediately began taking Suboxone, THAT would cause you to go into withdrawls.

Try not to take them on a daily basis, or you run the risk of replacing one habit with another. Actually, it is safer to take Suboxone rather than a benzo every day. That is just my opinion. This is mainly because you can get very high on benzos while (as I am sure you know) Suboxone has a "ceiling" effect," which means that you can't really get high off of it.

This is what i did a few nights ago. I took my last shot about 2pm - it was a big one - I put about .6 grams (tar) in it, and I tried not to fall asleep, (nod off), and then around 6 I took 3 xanax bars and knocked my self out till about 5 the next day. As soon as I got up, I took 2 subs. Make sure you put them under your tongue, or they will not work. Then, about 3 hours later, I was king of feeling bad. I just ached everywhere, and I took one more. Then, 40 minutes later, I did 2 shots because they will not really work and get you high but they will take away the pain all over your body but make shire you have at least .4 After you kick so you can do little after you kick and after you take the subs any email me i can help matthewnelsonpdx at gmail this is the best way to kick! Yes, it is okay to take NyQuil if you are taking Suboxone. I am on Suboxone and I take NyQuil; in fact I just took some yesterday.

Correction, taking a low dose of DXM (60-75mg) with Suboxone will potentiate the effects of the opiate and is not particularly dangerous. It is, however, dangerous to take Suboxone on a recreational dose of DXM as there is a risk of increased respiratory depression from the combination.

suboxone is like an opiate. opiates stay in your system for about 3 days. but if its a buprenorphine test than i would say about a week. if you want it out of your system dont take anything for about a FULL WEEK or more.
