The vin number should be located on the dashboard, drivers side, towards the left. It should be a long metal strip with the numbers engraved on it. If for some reason yours has been removed, check the title of the car or inside the door jams. Hope this helps...

like most old cars. run till hot set idle to spec. connect timing light to 12v, ground and clamp to front #1 spark plug. then at the diagnostic connector (near right hand HLight) short test pin to ground. ( this tells ECU to freeze advance rules). pin 4 to 5 out of 6 pins total. then check timing by flashing the strobe to the front of damper pully and marks. usually some where between 4-6 degrees.at 750-850 rpm. It is usually stated on the EPA sticker under hood. baring that go to suzuki.forum and check there or get a haynes or chilton manual. good day

no fluid, it has a mechanical clutch cable. just like a bicycle brake cable. just bigger and beefier. there can be many causes: cable bad. pedal end feel off. bell houusing end fell off or the nut on end fell off. the throw out bearing , melted to nothing left. the clutch fingers have melted and bent due to above. the clutch plate cracked and broke up to chunks. seem them all but , bad cable. easy to test, 1 person push pedal , other look at clutch rod. if it dont move 3 inches , then cable is bad. if it does move then clutch is bad. 3 pieces, PedAL, CABLE, CLUTCH.

Step 1, Ensure the front hubs are set to lock. In the centre of each front wheel is a dial. You have 2 options FREE or LOCK. Lock is for 4wd, Free is for 2wd. Step 2, Using the clutch move the small gear stick, between the front seats to Either H4 or L4. H4 enguages 4wd and keeps the gears the same as they are usually, ie highway driving. L4 or Low 4 enguages a whole new set of lower gears designed for tough, slow off roading.

proper answer: the ignition timing is controlled by the ECU , the or the engine computer as some might called. today the ECU is called the PCM. the timing is set on the fly using lookup tables inside the ECU. these tables are indexed by RPM and Load (vacuum). the base timing is set by the distributer or at a CAS sensor. (crank angle sensor ) the 95 uses a Distributor. (with a cmp/cas inside) if you timing does not advance then the ECU is faulty or one of the following: 1: Freeze jumper is shorted to ground (8vECU pin A7) or at the diagnostic connector C>D short. 2: the Map sensor is dead freezing the timing or grossly limiting the advance to only that achieved by RPM. This is a common failure mode ,and can be corrected by replacing all the ECU Electrolytic capacitors. The static timing is set to 8 Deg. Before TDC or 5 degrees, depending on whether you have a 8valve or 16v engine. if you discover the ignition static timing is off, check the can timing , and if that is off, install a new belt and idler. you will discover the ignition timing is now back to normal. (unless you messed with it). to set the static timing, place a jumper at C>D as mentioned above and then apply the timing light. rotate Distributor until perfect. jtgh

Try to press the clutch twice or trice in order to disengage it. If that does not work try adjusting the clutch tension. If that do not work maybe the clutch needs to be replaced with a new clutch. Try elimination process until you could find the real problem anyway there is no harm in trying and the plus factor about it is that you get to know the ins and outs of your vehicle. If problem still exists when all of my suggestion didnt work, maybe its time to seek professional help. It maybe a bit costly than making it yourself but you can be assured they will fix the problem.
