Android and Symbian are both open-sourced OS. Symbian at the time was the most popular mobile OS worldwide (Nokia being its biggest proponent) until Android surpassed it around 2011. Part of Symbian's fall was that much of its licensed source code was restricted to only member companies. In comparison, Android's licensed source code is relatively free of restrictions, which helped spur its use among manufacturers, carriers, and the developer community.
Symbian is the primary platform for mobile phones and PDAs. In a mobile phone coming with a pre built symbian OS you cant change it but you can uograde the firmware from the manfacturers site for performance improvements. For Ex: Nokia N73 comes with Symbian OS 9.2 where as the latest Nokia 5800 touch comes with Symbian OS 9.5. The basic UI is almost same for the different versions but performance ll vary.
i would suggest keepvid.com though im not sure if its format will work with nokia 5800 xpressmusic.

You usually cant run Windows .exe files in symbian, but you can run or execute symbian .exe files but the have to be compiled in .sis format. There is no emulator for this but i'm working on it to develop a emulator for symbian. Please contact me- superboytahmid@aol.com for the emulator.
:)
And for that sis.zip, you need atleast Symbian Anna or Belle to run them properly.
