A more sophisticated version is for nine magazines (three rows of three) placed on the floor. The "Leader" person, and the one in "Cahoots" understand that the pointer --usually a yard stick-- will point to the THE PLACE ON THE FIRST MAGAZINES ACCORDING TO THE PLACEMENT AND ROW THAT IS CHOSEN BY THOSE IN ATTENDANCE. This is done very causally.

The "one in cahoots" leaves the room while "The leader" asks the players to choose a magazine in a particular row. Then the "one in cahoots" is invited back into the room.

The "Leader" points to any magazine (the placement of the pointer is crucial) to tell the one in "Cahoots" the placement of the chosen magazine. Then, in a series of mystifying exchanges between the pointer and a variety of magazines, the Leader asks, "It this the one?" Finally, when the correct magazine is chosen, the one in "Cahoots" says, "Yes!"

This is followed by asking if anyone else is in "Cahoots" with the Leader." Several will try unsuccessfully, until one or more "catch on" to the trick.

This is a very good mixer and lots of fun for about 45 minutes to an hour.

Depending an how you arm it and what Space Marine Chapter you use, the points vary wildly. In which to get an accurate cost & the most effective armament you should refer to Codex: Space Marine or the codex of the army you are using.

Although we no longer know who exactly invented it, it was commonly played by many different people in the Appalachian Mountains. Today it is sold by Parker brothers under the title Aggrivation. It is also a game of marbles just like senet or mancala with rules similar to monoply. Play time about 45 min. Easy game and very strategic.

There are 2 players with the same amount of players each (7-10).

You will need to have players with different abilities. (Defenders, attakers, and so on)

You have to position them so that the defenders are defending the attackers until they have been knocked down. You have your players standing up on a surface with either some in front or behind one another. Who ever takes the first attack places the crazy bone on their back and points their head in the direction that the target is in. You simply flick the crazy bone from its feet with either your index or middle finger across the floor. If you miss the target, then it is the opponents turn. If you hit the target the opponent places the crazy bone that has been knocked down in a knocked down pile. The first player to knock down all the opponents' crazy bones down is the winner.

Tips:

Do not place your crazy bones to close together otherwise when the opponent takes their go your player and is hit is will rebound in to another one of your players and they will get knocked over. If your opponent has just taken their go do not take yours straight away because the might not have put the player up that they have just used. If you do take a shot even though the opponent has not put all their players up you do not take another go.

A Space Marine is about 7 ft tall and around 8 in full armor. The Primarchs are likely 10ft or taller.

First, you need a Player's Handbook. This contains the races, classes, and other information you need to create a character. Also, if you have a specific character in mind, you may need additional rule books. For example, the character I play as is a Grimlock Samurai. This requires the "Hordes of the Underdark" book, which has the race details for the Grimlock, and "Complete Warrior" which has the class details for Samurai.

1. Create a name for your character.

2. Decide your character's Race.

3. Decide your character's Class (you must choose the Race first because some Races cannot be certain Classes).

4. Decide your Alignment.

5. Roll for your base stats. This is detailed in the Player's Handbook.

I myself am an avid tabletop gamer, from strategy games to role-playing games. I have played The Settlers of Catan many times, and it's a blast. In relation to other, more "sophisticated" games such as Cosmic Encounter, Settlers has simple rules, but is still a game of endless strategy.

From the random generation of the island to deep gameplay, Catan allows for intense strategy and thought.

The difficulty of the game is truly based on the skill of one's opponents. Play with newbies and the game will be relatively simple and short, but sit down with long-time players, and you'll find yourself considerably challenged.

Any board-gamer should give The Settlers of Catan a good try. I haven't spoken to a single person who didn't love it.

There are two types of Ten sided die one that goes up in 10's (10, 20, 30, 40 etc) and another that goes up from 0-9. these are called percentile Dice and are ment to be roled together to calculate a randomised percentage e.g if you roled a 10 on one and a 5 on the other that's 15%.

I've seen dungeons with only 1 floor and I've seen dungeons with 100 floors.

Most dungeons I have encountered usually ran around 3-7 floors, but as long as each new floor is fun and interesting, there truly is no limit.

Dungeons and Dragons Online, high quality version takes up 8.21 GB. I believe the lower quality is around 7 GB.

You can sell them like any other object, eBay, garage/yard sales, to friends, find clubs on line to sell to or newspaper classifieds and Craig's List.

Well, the druid and the ranger are usually considered to be most likely to be able to communicate with animals, however, its not really required to be a druid or a ranger to communicate with animals
its a skill, and depending on the version of the game, it may have a different name, however, they all have 'animal' or the like within them

(8/29/09) 4.0 is the current edition available, so 3.5 is currently out-of-print. Your best bet is to look online at any site that has used books: Amazon, eBay and the like. You might also try Craigslist. If you're willing to buy used, you should find something, but you might actually find some of the remaining new stock, or get a like new book.

The other thing you can do is look for local game shops. Most towns of 100,000 and most major cities have a gaming or comic book store of some sort, and they may be able to help you track down a copy, though they have probably long sold out of any new copies they can get and again you'll have to settle for used.

There is no dungeons and dragons beast. What you have is a vast array of monsters of all types that can be found in the rulebooks. The Monster Manuals are the most common but also check out the Fiend Folio and campaign specific books.
