What are pros and cons of VOIP digital phone?

I really don't see any disadvantages of VoIP, and I work in the telecommunications business. The advantages are that you can use a company like vonage and you can pay a single monthly fee (I pay 25 bucks a month plus various taxes) and I can call my parents in England all day and every day for nothing extra and my wife can call her family in California all day every day for no extra. In the old days of voip, the calls were subject to a slightlly annoying delay, but now you cannot tell a voip call from a regular telephone call.

In most countries, you are not charged for a call unless it is answered. However, mobile phones in many countries may begin charging even before a call is answered, if you let it ring more than the allowed number of rings. In Denmark, landline phones charge you beginning from the moment you get dial tone, even if you don't dial any number at all.

What are the main materials in a cell phone?

Depends how strict the definition of a resource is. Every finite object (e.g. pencils, paper, computers) is possibly a resource, but the ones that people concern themselves with most often, for example, are: money, manpower, energy (in the form of electric), and natural resources like oil, coal, wood and other chemicals.

We have to think about each component in a phone. There is the casing (uses plastic which comes from crude oil and is shaped using heat produced from coal, oil or nuclear as the primary material).

Then there is the microchip. This is silicon, metal and more plastic. Energy and heat used as well.

The screen is the most complex item. Being made up of chemicals such as liquid crystal, and plastic, this takes energy again to make.

How do you transfer pics from one Verizon phone to another?

If you have unlimited text/pix/and flix, you can send them to someone while the old phone is still activated, activate the new phone, and have someone send them back. You can also sync them to your computer if you have the right program and USB cable. The easiest and quickest way is to take it into a Verizon wireless store that has a cellebrite machine. The machine can transfer contacts, pictures, videos, and music/sounds. There is usually a minimal fee of $10 for this service. If you got a replacement phone through Verizon wireless warranty, a corporate store will usually do it for free. If you upgraded, the store where you got the phone should have done it for free.
