Madness Ore is a material that is used to make a special heavy armor in the Shivering Isles. According to Cutter, it contains the souls of dead heroes. It can be found on Grummites or in madness ore deposits that are mainly found underground in the ruined forts of the Shivering Isles. It seems that deposits do not respawn their ore content. Head to Cutter's Weapons in Crucible to forge the armor or weapon. You will have several options depending on how many pieces of ore you have. Most armor requires two pieces of ore, but greaves are three pieces and a cuirass is five pieces. Magical Madness armor and weapons can be created if a Matrix is found. Each matrix is set to a specific armor or weapon type. The matrix and an appropriate amount of madness ore will allow the smith to create a magical version of that type in madness ore. Madness Matrices are usually found on Grummites. Lore wise, madness ore holds the souls of the deceased within it which in game cutter says. Grummites seem to be some of the most common enemies in the Shivering Isles, akin to goblins in Cyrodiil. Despite the fact that Grummites are common, the citizens of the Shivering Isles know very little about them. They can be found in forts, caves, and randomly throughout the isles guarding their eggs. They also have an affinity for madness ore. They come in a few different subtypes including Painbringer, Deathdealer, and Torturer that vary in power. i hope this helped...

in the master bedroom behind the desk you can jump ontop of the wall there will be a scroll, it gives you a quest and a clue to what it is, down in the servants quarters on one of the supports with garlic cloves on it there is an hourglass, then grab and you get a very special ring (the ring of the grey)

If you are getting it for the daedric shrine quest there should be a will-o-wisp sowewhere close by the shrine. you need to search it for the dust.

well you have to go to jail first, then a female dark elf will walk up to you ( wherever you are, it may take some time for her to find you and to get to you ) and she will hand you a note and say " its from a friend" then she walks off. or you could go looking around in the imperial waterfront district and find a poster that has the gray fox on it. either way you will get an journal entry that states that in order for you to join the theives guild.

Yes, some NPC's can. If you look at the bottom of the talk screen (Where there is an X to stop conversation or a trade sign for merchants) there will be a hammer. Click on the hammer and then you can repair stuff. It'll cost you though

Well, as for as I have found, the shop owners can only have up to 1200 gold...I always go to Renaline at The Best Defense in the Imperial City Marketplace. I get her disposition up, and then try to haggle with her to get the best deal...Doing a lot of large transactions with her (even if she's the one doing the buying) will up her disposition, but you can always bribe her, or take the long route and do it manually...

um... not to dissapoint you but no. well... it has a quest where a gang in Anvil pretends to be prostitutes but they just want you to take off your armer so they can rob you. and no. they dont take anything off. the rateing says nudety because you can get a mod that makes it so they dont wear underwear or bras.

In oblivion, stores are like reality and they are locked at night, when the owners are asleep. So, it should only be locked at night and not during the day time. If it's still locked during the day, something might be wrong with your game, and unfortunately, I can't help with that.

Oblivion does not have regular spiders. However it has 'Spider Daedra' which are like spider centaurs, spider body with a human torso.

Did this ages ago, but from memory I think you have to follow her to where she is talking to the gatekeeper and is crying as she talks to it, then you have to run in when she leaves, and she's dropped it on the ground.

If you play on the PC, you can type 'player.payfine' to get the guards off you right then, BUT this also eliminates all your stolen items. You can also enter 'player.setcrimegold 0'. You will have to exit the city/room for this to take effect, however. If you play on the Xbox360 or PS3, your only options are through the thieves' guild, paying your fine, or going to jail.
