Hi I suppose it depends on what you want to do. If by "get over being shallow" does that mean that you believe yourself to be shallow, and always will be? In that case, you can "get over it" by reminding yourself that you are what you are, and it's ok to be you. Not everyone can be a rocket scientist, nor would everyone want to be. You will probably gravitate towards people who are like you, so nobody you really like or care about is likely to stick a finger in your face and accuse you of being shallow. On the other hand, your question might mean "I think I am shallow, but I don't want to be shallow, I want to be wiser and more profound." The only real way you can get over that hurdle is to become better educated. I don't mean necessarily to go to Harvard, but simply to read, and be more selective in what you read. If you listen to the the radio, try to find a National Public Radio station. They have an excellent news show every morning and drive time afternoon, and most of the rest of the day is about current events. On the weekend they have some gentle comedy shows, and the best of the best called This American Life. Getting past being shallow is not something you can do overnight. Replacing what you once thought was important with what really is important takes time and experience. Try going to your local used bookstore and ask for book on the Holocaust, Martin Luther King, The New Deal, Nelson Mandela, and something by Virginia Woolf. Spend less time thinking of yourself and start volunteering in a cancer children's ward or burn ward and I'd say in less than 24 hours you'll realize that you are but a minute speck of a human being like the rest of us living on this planet. I seriously think you should involve yourself in some sort of volunteer work of your choosing because it builds good character. I've done it since I was a teen and I still do it. Giving of oneself without a reward or monies is the best character building of the inner soul that one can get.

YOU'RE ALL WRONG!!! I personally love to play with the argonioan, mostly because he just looks cool. (I'm sad, I know) But it really depends on your style of playing the game. If you're all stealthy and junk, an argonian, kajiit or wood elf is probably best. Those of you who love to feel the magic should go with a breton, or high elf. For those of you who have them fighty hands, use a nord or orc. For those of you who want a bit of everything, A dark elf, redgaurd, or imperial should do you. So there really is no "best race" only the race you're best at playing.

The races have their pros and cons. But i personally play as dunmer(dark elf).
it all depends on what you, as the player, prefer. any race can be fitted with a birthsign and a class that gives it an advantage over all other races, but most races (and some birthsigns) come with negatives. Personally, i like to thieve and assassinate people, so i chose a Khajiit (which make great thieves) and gave him the thief birthsign and thief class. if you add vampirism to a thief or assassin (both of which operate mainly at night) you have an amazing character in my opinion. but, as i said before, it's all up to what you prefer and what you're good at. loook this is blasterace im ultimate fan of oblivion but its righ personall im a imperial with battle mage sighn and a vampire wich makes u strong yaw like being 1 thing wile im every thing im master of thieves guild master fighter guild arena grand champion part of every club and mastered them all i got the ultimate person so enjoy the game

Where is border watch on oblivion?
The "Famous" town of Border Watch is located between Bravil and Leyawiin in the southeast area of the map. If you have not yet explored this area follow directions one, and if you have, follow directions two. I suggest that you read both. 1. Fast travel to Leyawiin, a city/town in the lower right area of the map. Follow the road northawards. While walking northawards you should encounter an area with sheep called Water's Edge. In case you don't it is fairly accurate if you find the border of the game area that juts out the most to your left on the map (they appear hill shaped sideways). If you are at Water's Edge you should place your marker slightly below you and far to the left. If you are not you should walk west-ward from the point that I described earlier (the one that is the boundry). You should find a small settlement of houses and the screen will read "You have found Border Watch". 2. In the case that you have found Water's Edge while previously following the road or just exploring (the first time I looked for it I missed it by staying on the road). At this point set your marker slightly below you and far to the left. I hope that this information is helpful and I apologize for any mistakes/spelling errors. Yes. I've found this when trying to do Anvil's recommendation without leveling up. What you need to do is: Sleep for 1 hour -> Right after the "Autosave" text pops up in top left -> click cancel. The quest will be updated but no level up.
