the first disc is the actual game itself while the second disc holds all the dlc content. you use the 2nd disc to install the content onto your hard drive or usb drive. this 2nd disc can be used as many times on different consoles and hard drives so you can give your dlc to friends for free.

You can't damage Alduin except in Sovengard, and even then you have to use Dragon Rend ( something like that ) to knock him out of the sky before he'll take damage.

No, but it would just take a very long time considering that you would have to move up slowly on the percentages because of your low alchemy level. So not impossible, just VERY time consuming.

Though I have never tried this, it has been suggested that killing your current steward would allow you to replace them. There might be a way of doing it with console commands where you could come out with everyone alive by using "kill", setting your follower to be steward and then resurrecting the old steward. But again, I haven't tried this.

If you actually meant housecarl, the answer is no (as far as I know) because each one is assigned by the game to the house in their origin hold.

The first thing you need to do is go to the priest of Mara in Riften and talk to him about marraige. He'll sell you an amulet of Mara that will let people know you are interested. Then it's just a case of speaking to people, there's about 60 people who are potential spouses, some require you to do something for them first.

Your race has no part in getting married, I don't think there is any wood elf partners to marry though, so you may have to settle for another race you want to marry.

You can do any type of quests using any play style. it would be alot easier though if you were a stealth type character for the dark brotherhood.

Maramal can be found in the Bee and the Barb Inn inside Riften. He sells the amulet of Mara which allows you to marry.

There are many "factions" in Skyrim, but few you can join. You can the factions like the Dark Brotherhood, Thieves Guild, the Blades, and the Companions. You can choose a side in the ongoing Civil War and side with the Imperials or the Stormcloak Rebellion.

Other "non-joinable factions" include the Forsworn, the Thalmor, the Bandits, the Pentus Occulatus...etc.

If you are a PC player, there are a few faction mods including a highly recommended "Pit Fighters" mod, and a "Join the Forsworn" mod.

This sounds like a mod, not part of the vanilla game. You'd have to see what the mod says.

Embalming Tools and Linen Wraps are 'junk' items, they have no use to the player. In the game's lore, they are part of the embalming process in which dead Nords were prepared before being interred in the barrow as Draugr.

Yes. Skyrim has an infinite save system. Creating a new game will create a new file, leaving your previous one there. When you start playing that newly created one, the old save files will be pushed to the bottom of the list. So simply scroll down until you see your old character and choose the file you want to continue that playthrough.

The end of the main quest features the king dragon Alduin being defeated by the Dragonborn, although the game can still continue after.

You could try to calm them using a calming illusion spell of appropriate strength and then quickly talk to the merchant and sell your items.
