The Smurf cartoon actually originated from a comic strip in France. It was based on Johan & Pirlouit but was referred to as Les Schtroumpfs.

There are no official reports with the number of times they say the word Smurf in the Smurf movie. Most people that saw the movie suggest that they said it over 200 times.

Alot of times they dont drink, they just drink the juice/eat Smurfberries...No onee has ever seen them drink something. But thats my Theroy

Smurfette was created by Gargamel for evil doings against the other Smurfs. Turned out, she sided with the other Smurfs against Gargamel.

In order to draw, you need to have 2 things. 1. Writing utensil (pen, pencil, paint, etc.) 2. Anything to write on (paper, walls, chalk board etc.) Depending on what writing utensil you have, hold it so that it makes contact with your writing surface and leaves a mark. PRATICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE! IT IS PERFECTION! The way to draw is: First imagine something for example, a person. Focus on the roundness of the head and the structure of the body. Then do the details, but you need to focus on the main parts of the body before the details. If you want to draw something in your sight, look at it and keep eyes locked. Take it slow and easy. While drawing, do not move your head here and there. Remember; HAVE PATIENCE WHILE DRAWING! Yes you must have patience. It is difficult to learn to put what you actually see on a piece of paper..or wall...or board. When you begin to learn, practice using a simple object to draw. A basic pen (yes, that's right, a writing utensil) is a good subject. Lay the pen on the table and look at it. I mean really look at it. Now, use a pencil to draw the pen on the paper. Have an eraser handy because you will want it A LOT. Draw the pen exactly as you see it. Contrary to what the above answer says, keep your eyes moving from your paper to the pen in an effort to make the pen as realistic as possible. Sharpen the pencil often to keep your lines sharp and clear. Now, walk away from your drawing for at least 30 minutes. When you come back, you will see things about the pen that you had not seen before. Put those details into your drawing. This is the basis for drawing, learning to see everything about your subject that you possibly can. And this is the beginning of art...to accurately put to paper or canvas what you see.

The main female Smurf people think of is Smurfette, a main character. But there are two other female Smurfs: Sassette Smurfling and Nanny Smurf.

Gargamel is the name of the main villain in The Smurfs and his sidekick is a cat named Azriel. His goal is to use the Smurfs to turn matter into gold. Luckily, he is always thwarted by the Smurfs.

The Oompa Loompa, definitely. They have the size advantage, are at *least* equal in magical abilities, and are way ahead on knowlege. Oompa Loompas would have the advanatage in a battle of physical strength or wits, either one.

In the original comics, green Smurfs are considered to be wild and mad, and many of the regular Smurfs are afraid of them. They don't really appear that often, though, so most tend to forget them entirely. Basically, in the comic canon, green Smurfs do exist; in the cartoon, they don't.

Smurfette was always in the show, from the very first episode aired. Episode 22, titled "The Smurfette" was basically a flashback episode that tells about how she came to be.
