I have no idea either. I'm hopefully about to find out; it cannot be like building a castle USED to be, because the labor was very intense, many people died in the process of building castles, and they took years to construct. I assume it's a semi-manufactured shell of some kind of plaster solidified in a harder material and molded to look like stone(s)-but again, I have no idea. If I do find out how it was created I will update this response.

There are a couple of creepy parts. What is scary can be different depending on the person, but you come pretty face to face with some dementors. The worst part for me (a total arachnophobia) was the giant spiders. Overall though, it really isn't too scary.
