Usually your name, your location, your favorite things, maybe a good quote or two, and a background of who you are :)
For example: check on my tumblr at mirthfulmermaid.tumblr.com
Choose any picture you want and crop it to the right proportions that you want. Go to your blog settings and click the choose avatar button at the top, then choose the file that you saved the picture in.
Tumblr is free but you can buy special themes for it ranging from $20 to $40
You mean that you sent to people? You can't until that person answers it. :)
1000notes.com has over 1,000,000 followers. No other Tumblr blog can even come close to claiming this many.
Go under 'Account Management.' If you do delete your account remember there is no way to reactivate a Tumblr account. Once your account is deleted, whether by you or someone else, all of the content from your blog(s) gets deleted as well. You can, however, sign up for a new account & try to claim the same blog URL on our registration page. Again, there is no way for them to restore a blog or any of the content from that blog.
It's probably just a small hiccup in Firefox. Try restarting the browser or switching to a different one, like IE, Chrome, or Safari. If the problem persists, ask Tumblr to send you a new password and hopefully the problem will go away.
When you make a post, on the right hand side there should be a section that says tags. You type what you want your tags to be.
Tumblr waits for a certain time period before allowing new users' tagged posts to show up in tag searches.
Simple!
Once you have Clicked Reblog, There is a icon which is a picture of a tree, click that and enter the GIF URL, where it says: Image URL.
Then you can click "Reblog post" :)
Hope that helped, Enjoy blogging! :)
Tumblr is very simple if you play around with it.
Try following new blogs to make posts come up on your "Dashboard" When you have a post that you see that you like and want on your blog, press the "Reblog" button. It looks like two arrows making a recangle. After you click this button it will lead you to a bubble box that will pop up where you then scroll down a little, you may then comment on the post, whether you do or not is up to you and then you press the button that says "Reblog" on the bottom right hand corner. If you decided you don't like that post click the "x" in the upper right hand corner. If you want to add the post to your "Queue" or "Drafts" you then go over to the bottom left hand corner, there it will say Reblog and have a little arrow pointing down next to it. You may click it to then click either "Draft" or "Queue". After that you just clivk the bottom on the bottom right hand of the box to either publish (reblog), save(add to drafts), or add to queue.
Queue - Queue is a little thing that had a timer. It can post up to 50 posts a day and then when you are currently offline it will post these posts for you if they are in your Queue for them to be published.
Drafts - Drafts are a section of posts that will stay in a little section called "Drafts" you can then access them later to either publish them or view them again. Some people save ideas or things they like on them. I save a lot of DIY ideas in mine.
Liking - When you're on your dashboard there is a little heart on every post. If you like a picture (or video, audio, text etc.) you can press this button to like it, but it will not appear on your blog.
Making your own posts - On the top of your dashboard there is a section that says Text | Picture | Audio | Video | Chat| (and maybe something else) Click on those and there should be an example of how each works. They're pretty simple!
Here are the main things you should know starting but up at the very top of the Dashboard click on the circle with the question mark on it and that is Tumb;r's help page!
Think of anything you like! I picked mine by listening to music. If you are reblogging mostly one category (like fashion, celebs., ect.)
Nice Question. Dear Anna, you can grow organic traffic by optimizing your content for your readers and users, not search engines. First and foremost, write your buyer personas so you know to whom you address your content, blog regularly, plug into the blogosphere, use long-tail keywords, get your meta down, consistently create quality content, and use internal, encourage incoming links. Thanks.
To change your display picture on tumblr you need to go to your tumblelog (not your blog) and click on settings. You'll see the picture that you already have and a "Browse" button. If you click it it'll give you the option to choose a picture from your computer that you want to use as a new display picture. Then you go to the bottom and click on "save preferences" and that's it.
If you look at the top right of her page it should say "install theme" click on it and it'll lead you to it :)
There's a great free online service zebraboss dot com that helps you keep track on new followers and unfollowers on almost all social network. As far as I know they plan to add tumblr too.
You can contact the staff anytime and ask them about that.

1.Go on your Tumblr blog.
2. Click "Customize appearance".
3. When you look down there should be something that reads "Title" and description.
4. Then you change it ^.^
Unfortunately, there is no way to track an anonymous ask. It is "anonymous" after all. You may be able to contact the police and see if they can help if you are receiving dangerous messages or you are experiencing bullying.
You can only do so if the theme you are using allows you to. Some do not. If yours done, it will be under the customize bar when you change your customized settings. If it does not show up, the theme you have applied does not allow it.
