There can be several reasons why a person urinates a lot. One could be that you have a problem with your bladder. You could be diabetic, the best thing I can suggest is that you consult with a doctor and find out what's happening to your system. Also if you drink a lot (that's any type of fluid intake not just alcoholics) your kidneys will rise to the challenge and keep your fluid equilibrium by 'opening the valves'.
Does anxiety make you urinate a lot?
== All depends on what you are anxious about. Say you are anxious about taking a long car ride with no stops than yeah maybe if you think that you are going to urinate and nervous than you might. Mind over matter! == Actually, it is normal for an anxious person to urinate more frequently, because anxiety is simply the activation of the sympathetic nervous system and as a result, the muscles of the bladder contract and urination becomes more frequent.
Why is it that you often urinate during cold days?
If you mean that it hurts to urinate when you have a cold, then this doesn't make sense. The genitourinary tract is separate from the systems that are affected when you have a cold. A UTI, which is an infection of the urinary tract, develops when bacteria enters and goes into your ureters as well as your bladder. A cold does not cause this to happen. My guess is that you have a UTI coincidentally at the same time that you have a cold. You may be more apt to develop a UTI if your immune system is suppressed, which it is slightly when you have a cold. This could be the link that makes you have a UTI and a cold at the same time. If you do have a UTI you need to be put on antibiotic therapy as soon as possible. A cold can clear on its own, a UTI cannot.
Approximately 95% of the volume of normal urine is water. The other 5% consists of solutes (chemicals that are dissolved in the water). These include urea, uric acid, and creatinine. Other components of urine include sodium chloride (common salt), and more than 100 other substances are often present in trace amounts.
The kidneys place a role in determining the body's ACID-BASE balance - that is, they help to ensure that the pH of the blood does not fall below or rise above 7.3.
There are two possible routes by which pH can change:
RESPIRATORY CAUSES
* Respiratory Acidosis results from a HIGH blood gas concentration of CO2 which becomes carbonic acid when dissolved in water. This usually occurs because the patient just isn't breathing effectively enough - such as in morphine overdose where the automatic control of ventilation is suppressed. The body must compensate for this dangerous decrease in pH (to put things into perspective, a pH of 6.8 will mean life is NOT sustainable) and in the case of RESPIRATORY ACIDOSIS, it employs a RENAL compensation. If the normal buffering systems in the blood are overwhelmed (haemoglobin, bicarbonate, phospate and plasma proteins all usually help to mop up excess acid) then the kidney excretes more acid, and reabsorbs more bicarbonate. This INCREASES the buffering capacity of the blood, and reduces the acid content.
* Respiratory Alkalosis results from a LOW blood gas concentration of CO2. This can occur during HYPERVENTILATION (e.g. during a panic attack, or during the early stages of an asthma attack). The lungs are 'blowing off' higher levels of carbon dioxide than necessary, and this pulls the pH up. The kidney also plays a role here, by doing the opposite: it DECREASES excretion of acid, and reabsorbs less bicarbonate, so DECREASING the buffering capacity of the blood, and increasing the acid content. This serves to pull the pH back down to normal levels.
Renal compensation takes a long time to kick in - up to 5 days - but is effective.
METABOLIC CAUSES
* Metabolic Acidosis is caused by an increased production of acid or a decreased availability of bicarbonate (HCO3). Lots of different things can cause a metabolic acidosis. These depend on the ANION GAP (i.e. the ratio of positively charged ions to negatively charged ones). Acidosis with a normal anion gap can be due to longstanding diarrohoea, or glue sniffing. An increased anion gap in acidosis can be an indication of lactic acidosis or diabetic ketoacidosis. The compensation for these is via the RESPIRATORY system. Chemoreceptors around the body detect the fall in pH and INCREASE the breathing rate - effectively causing hyperventilation. This makes us blow off more carbon dioxide, and thus decreases the acid content of the blood.
* Metabolic Alkalosis is caused by a decreased production of acid, or an increased availability of HCO3. Vommitting can cause this, where acidic H+ ions are lost. Anything which causes HYPOKALAEMIA (i.e. a low level of potassium) can also cause this. This happens because, in the kidney, hydrogen and potassium ions are exchanged. Less available potassium, means less hydrogen can be absorbed, and so the pH increases. The body reacts to this with RESPIRATORY compensation - we decrease our breathing. This increases the CO2 content of the blood are decreases the pH back towards the normal value.
Respiratory compensation happens very rapidly, but is much less effective at maintaining pH.
What is the normal urinary output?
First you must measure fluid intake against urine output over a number of days. Deduct for sweat, tears, fluid in stools, and some retention. You should then arrive at a figure of maybe output about 75/ 80% of input.
This could be a number of things causing this: Polyuria is an excessive need to urinate. Excessive urination can be a sign of a number of disorders, including diabetes. Polyuria that occurs over several days and is not due to medications or an increase in fluid intake may be a cause for concern. Left untreated, it can lead to dehydration, a serious complication of diabetes. Polyuria can also be due to many other conditions, including endocrine disorders, kidney disease, liver disease, urinary tract infection, mineral imbalances, head injury, emotional disorders, diabetes insipidus and Wolfram syndrome. Certain medications can also cause excessive urination. In people with diabetes, polyuria can trigger other symptoms including increased thirst (polydipsia), weight loss and increased hunger (polyphagia). People experiencing polyuria are encouraged to see their physician for appropriate treatment.

To make someone pee in their sleep, wait for them to be sound asleep (give it a couple hours), then take a bowl of slightly-warmer-than-body-temp water and place their entire hand in it. Wait a few minutes, and there you have it...an empty bladder, and a full mattress. I've done this prank many times, with about 90 percent success.
*NOTE* If you have a friend that has to pee a lot, pin them down and try this while they're awake and they have to pee! Me and a friend tried this on another one of our friends and she completely flooded the kitchen floor! Good luck!

It depends where you are. If your locked in your room: a garbage can, the floor/rug, pee your pants, under your bed. Outside: in a bush/tree/grass, in your pants. Also, hold it until you drip really fast.
