End-of-row switching is the most traditional approach, where a single large chassis-based switch such as the Cisco Catalyst® 6500 Series Switch is used to support one or more racks. Because the Catalyst 6500 Series can support considerable density, this approach is usually the most cost-effective in terms of delivering the highest level of switch and port utilization, especially when coupled with the rich set of network virtualization services available in the Catalyst 6500 Series. Because it also supports a wide variety of service modules, the Catalyst 6500 Series also simplifies pushing security and application networking services into the access layer, which can be a significant advantage from a compliance and security perspective.
The end-of-row approach is also the most server-independent, so it provides maximum flexibility to support a broad range of servers. In certain scenarios, end-of-row switching can provide performance advantages, because two servers that exchange large volumes of information can be placed on the same line card to take advantage of the low latency of port-to-port switching (as opposed to card-to-card or switch-to-switch, which will be slower).
The primary disadvantage of end-of-row switching is the need to run cable back to the switch. Assuming every server is connected to redundant switches, this cabling can incur considerable costs and add operational complexity. Also, the physical volume of the cable wastes valuable rack space and may impede efficient equipment cooling. And, going forward, any significant move to 10 Gigabit Ethernet for servers will present some challenges.
Top-of-rack switching is a viable choice for dense 1 rack unit (1RU) server environments. In this approach the 1RU Cisco Catalyst 4948 Switch is placed at the top of the rack and all the servers in the rack are cabled to the switch, which then has one uplink to the aggregation layer. In some instances a pair of Catalyst 4948 Switches are used for high-availability purposes. This approach significantly simplifies cable management and avoids the rack space and cooling issues of end-of-row switching. This approach also provides some architectural advantages such as fast port-to-port switching for servers within the rack, predictable oversubscription of the uplink and smaller switching domains (one per rack) to aid in fault isolation and containment.
The common challenge with the top-of-rack approach is suboptimal port utilization - not enough servers to fill the switch. One option is to put one top-of-rack switch server in an adjacent rack: this preserves the advantages of the top-of-rack switch while increasing port utilization. However this approach should be done sparingly and with good discipline to avoid devolving into a poorly executed end-of-row arrangement. Finally, with a top-of-rack approach, attention must be paid to ensure that commonly used or high-volume data pathways do not end up spanning multiple racks and thus multiple switches.
Can you change the screen size in KiGB like you can in VisualBoy?
No for some reason it will not let you
Is ps2 emulator works without graphic card?
No, you will not only need a graphics card, but one that meets the requirements.
First download the vbalink emu then follow these steps for using it on one computer also for using it over the internet
Last time we were wondering how can we connect 2 gba emulator to each other so we can trade up Pokemon, play multilayer and stuff. TGB Dual had done it during the GBC Era however it wasn't that much of a success on Internet multilayer. After a long wait finally VBA Link brought it to reality. Now we can link GBA games with each other either thru LAN or thru your own computer. Here's my experience trying to connect two emulator together.
Start your VBA Link and then click the following for One Computer Connection :
Don't bother about the log feature. If you have it running it will just slow down the process of connecting. Un check it. Restart, and run 2 instances side by side of your emulator. Then check that both emulator had these (Pause when inactive window) feature unchecked ! So that you wont get synchronization error when you play multiple gba link games.
Now remember you have to use the same Visualboyadvance.exe emulator or else the link wont work. Ive tried running it 2 separated folder and the link just wont connect. Its OK if you do a LAN based game using 2 separate Visualboyadvance.exe (will show you later), but if you're connecting on the same PC you got to use the same Visualboyadvance.exe and run 2 instance of it.
Next you have to configure keys for each of your visual boy advance. Make sure the first instance of emulator had Default Joy pad 1 and the 2nd emulator have Default Joypad 2. Make sure you confiture the keys for Joypad 1 and Joypad 2 because defautly no keys are bind for Joypad 2. So you have to configure it by clicking on the configure section.
Now you're ready to load up the ROM and start linking. Open your favorite ROM you want to link and run on each emulator. I tried using Advance Wars for the linking of the game:
The connection was made successfully. You may see some choppy display on the 2nd emulator side but as long as one of the emulator is saying press START then you're fine ;) once its connected you can enjoy playing the game with your friend. So simple ! Next ill show you how to play this over the Internet or LAN.
Its not much difference than the previous instruction. The set joypad and set no pause settings must be done also. But this time its on both computer. You can run different Visualboyadvance.exe (obviously) because its 2 different computer but you have to also have a middle man that runs the server. So one of you people must run this server Vbaserver.exe. Xp will not allow it to run however you can unblock it when the popup warning comes out. Dont worry just unblock it wont harm your computer. It's just saying that the program needs an open socket to connect to the TCP/IP. Once its running get the IP Address and pass it to the person on the other side. The trick here is to get everyone connected on the server then only the Link feature in the game works. As previously the server program is not needed because its runs the same 2 Visualboyadvance.exe. This time because on a LAN its two different computer so you have to connect to the server first.
Once the server is running ... then you have to connect each Visualboyadvance.exe to the server. Here's how to do it. Go to the link section like previous but this Tim select LAN. Then restart your emulator like previously and the enter the IP address and connect to the server. You'll see that the server will change status to Player #1 connected. And once player 2 is connected. A popup window saying Connected will appear. Once you're connected then run the ROM as usual. You're already in the link environment already ;) just imagine that getting connected its like having plugged in the multiplayer cable to your gameboy ;) its that simple
Now load your ROM and enjoy the game. Read the FAQ First however.
Gameboy Advance Emulator Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I set see the Link in the options, but nothing works.
A: Single emulator can not link to itself. To get a link working, bring up 2-4 different vbalink emulator screens.
Q: The link in game XY doesn't work.
A: It probably uses another transfer mode. There are five of them, but VBALink emulates only one so far.
Q: What are the system requirements of VBALink?
A: They're the same as for VBA - that means pretty high. The slowest computer I successfully traded Pokemon on was a 333MHz - it ran at about 25% speed.
Q: How can I find the changed or added lines in the source files?
A: Just search for Link (whole word), I think I wrote it everywhere I changed something. Or, as Xedecimal said, you can use a merge application.
Q: What shall I do with the files - win32.cpp, gba.cpp, link.cpp ....etc.... ?
A: These are source files , and normal people don't need them at all. Just download the executable file .

Most of the time, the file wcu.exe is located in a subfolder of "C:\Program Files" with the file size 108,032 bytes. Normally, this process has no file description and no visible window. This is why it is difficult to find more information about this wcu.exe on the net. But it is not a Windows system file, but listens for or sends data on open ports to LAN or Internet.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
WCU.exe error is a commonly poppe-up system error that is associated with WCU.exe file. WCU.exe file is not a critical executable file for system operation, but it is related with certain .dll file and serves as a critical component used for manage certain programs' running situation. In case that you have come across WCU.exe error messages on PC screen, you may consider simply disabling it to temporarily get rid of it.
Furthermore, even if WCU.exe hasn't been recognized as a major risk for PC performance, it also has the ability to perform dangerous tasks to seriously reduce the system performance.

How do you install 1m sub-circuit board?
It's because of the save format on Visual Boy Advanced. FireRed uses Flash 128k, where as VBA usually uses Flash 64K. To fix this click Options>Emulator>Save Type>Click Flash 128K. Then restart your rom.
Make sure to delete any old saves, since FireRed will still load the old save format.
A PSX BIOS refers to the basic input/output system used by the PlayStation console. It contains essential firmware that helps the system boot up and manage hardware functions, allowing games and applications to run. The BIOS is crucial for emulators, as it enables them to replicate the PlayStation's functionality on different platforms by providing the necessary system calls and routines. Without a proper PSX BIOS, emulation would be incomplete or non-functional.

Do PlayStation 2 emulators work?
It is possible to use a PlayStation 2 emulator to play PS2 games on your computer. It is only legal to do if you own an original copy of the game.
MAME currently boasts it's configured to emulate about 6000 roms, and many of those can have multiple rom files to make one game. These multiple files are commonly refered to as a "parent" rom and various romsets.
An example might be one game like galaga thats originally a japanese game, that rom is the "parent", and a smaller romset can be added to translate to another language.
Keep in mind that not all of these are playable yet. A more conservitive number of working roms is 2000.
