A "browser" is a program that can render/read HTML.

Go to "windows" control panel, and click on "sounds" icon. In the listing, find the one for AOL, then click once on it, then hit "browse" at the bottom and find another "wav" file to load instead of the standard irritating "You've Got Mail" canned voice. You could replace it with a bell, or any "wav" file you have stored on your PC or MAC.

you can test to see if the server is active by sending a "ping". A ping is mainly used for this and for measuring connection speeds and response (ping) times...

if you are using windows 9x or above this is done by going start > run and then typing in the box "command" if that doesn't work, try "cmd" (no quotes). Once you are there, type the following info (replace [servername] with you server's name ie faqfarm.com)

You can remove widgets in the Extensions bar. It can be found under Mote Tools in settings.

you cant really naswer this question with 5 difrences because they are 2 diffrent things. A web browser is the software application that access the web page. webpage is what you see the web browser is what displays the web page

3.save the file as "something".VBS

4. save file type from text document to all files then open it and check it out then you can make it come up when you login or other fancy stuff like that!

Personally, I think that the lightest web browser is Firefox.

Almost all browsers provide this facility these days. Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari etc all provide this.

You don't need to open another window. It's easier to navigate and takes less memory in computer memory.

My gmail got locked a few days ago, when I was spell checking an email. Now my computer will not redirect to any gmail site. I can log in on my husband's PC so it is not my gmail account. My computer must be blocking the site. I get an error message. I tried enabling my firewall, but that did not help.
