How do you get free windows -7 product key?
You can't ! Each unique copy of Windows 7 is pre-installed on computers. The licence key for the legitimate copy supplied with the computer is 'woven' into the Windows registry. If you try to install another copy with a different licence key, your computer will claim it is an illegal copy - and display various messages warnign you of that fact.
You can buy a legitimate copy from Microsoft - but it will (a) need to be installed from scratch, (b) register itself with the Windows server and (c) disable the licence key that came with your original copy.
How do you remove or disable Java from Windows 7?
Hi,
See the related link to the Java web-site.
It is recommended, before you proceed with online installation you may want to disable your Internet firewall. In some cases the default firewall settings are set to reject all automatic or online installations such as the Java online installation. If the firewall is not configured appropriately it may stall the download/install operation of Java under certain conditions. Refer to your specific Internet firewall manual for instructions on how to disable your Internet Firewall.

How can you make window XP a dual boot with window 7?
There's no "magical hidden" XP lurking under Windows 7. You could install both operating systems on the same computer and dual-boot, or alternatively (and much less complicated) just get a hypervisor program like Oracle's VirtualBox or Microsoft's own VirtualPC (both of these are free, though you'll have to have a legitimate copy of XP to install) and install XP on the virtual machine.

What is the booting procedure of Windows XP?
By "booting" do you mean when you are installing the OS for the first time or do you mean after, you've installed the OS and are beginning to use Win XP. Are you asking how is it different from all the other OS's from Microsft in the installation. If so, then the first big difference, is that you do NOT have to make a start up disk with Win XP. So long as you change the boot sequence in your BIOS to make the CD Rom drive the first device to boot, save those changes and then restart, you should have smooth sailing so long as you follow the prompts after that. Check you motherboard manual for the right way to get into your BIOS, and under which directory you will find the boot sequence option. Hope this answers your question. Once you've finished the install make certain you change the boot sequence back to make the hard drive with the OS on it the first device to boot so as to increase the boot time [this may shave a couple of seconds off the boot sequence]. How do you remove contigous files?
I'm not sure I understand why you're asking this question. Contiguous files are simply files that are not broken up in pieces. As you disk fills up, when you delete files to make more room, the free space is scattered all over the disk. If you download a large file, or install software, there may not be enough room in any single place on the disk to fit the entire file. Windows puts chunks of the file in several places to make it fit. This can slow down the time it takes to load the file. When you defrag the disk, it attempts to make as many files contiguous as possible. Deleting contiguous files should be exactly the same procedure as with any other file. However, some files that the system uses must be contiguous. They can't be deleted because they are in use by the system. If you have any questions, please email me or check out my profile.

Should you format a new hard drive?
Depending on your hard drive. If it's a new external hard drive you should check to see if it's preformatted for your computer. For example I just bought a new LaCie drive for my Mac Powerbook. It already comes preformatted in HFS mode so I didn't have to do anything. Other external hard drives allow you to put files in a hard drive without formatting, but this can cause problems later on down the road. Some Mac who have Seagate external hard drives have reported a clicking noise and malfunctioning. I personally have had this experience as I was sharing it with a PC (Seagate doesn't recommend this). It wasn't formatted thus I couldn't put some simple stuff on the hard drive such as folders with folder icons! To format any hard drive, connect your hard drive to you Mac. Then open the disk utilities application that can be found in the utilities folder in the application folder. Select the hard drive you want to format. To find out the rest, google it. haha. I kind of forget what which button to push, but it's fairly simple. I would recommend getting specific drives for PC and Mac. You can never be too safe when backing up your information. So far my LaCie works great and is quieter than my Seagate.
