- And then click Change the password or Remove the password.
Type new password for administrator and confirm it or click remove password to make the account's password blank.
2. Recover Windows 7 Admin Password with Installation CD
What you should prepare first is a Windows installation CD.
<1> Insert it into Windows 7 computer and set computer boot from it.
<2> Select Repair Windows and get into Command Prompt.
<3> Recover Windows 7 password with commands
Type these:
copy c:\windows\system32\sethc.exe c:\
copy /y c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe c:\windows\system32\sethc.exe
Exit installation CD, and reboot your PC.
<4> Reset Windows 7 password
While Windows login screen appears, press the Shift key 5 times to bring up the command line interface. Now type net user your name your new password.
For example, net user isunshare 12345. That means that password of account isunshare is set as 12345.
Tips: At last, you have to use the command c:\sethc.exe file back to c:\windows\system32\sethc.exe to restore the original sethc.exe file.
3. Get into Windows 7 with free Ophcrack
- First, get Ophcrack Vista free live cd.
- Second, boot your computer from the CD from Ophcrack live cd

At last, just reboot computer and exit password reset disk from computer. You would find you don't need any password to login into Windows 7.

How do you change a file extension in Windows 7?

- Make sure "Hide extentions for known filetypes" are unchecked.
- Right click your file and choose rename.
- Change the file type after "." as you like.
Keep in mind by changing this you might harm the file, and if forgot to always leave the .filetype when naming something else will result in not being able to open the file. It's advised to check the hide extensions options again after the change.
Additional:
Some files like .docx can be changed with it's default software by choosing "Save as..." to for example .doc , and .doc can be changed to .PDF trough OpenOffice Writer's File menu and so on. Do your research!

I don't know if you can restore the "Opens With" wizard, but you can change the program that opens files of that extension. Right-click on the file and select "Properties". The properties window will show what program opens that extension, and allow you to change it.

If you have PXE service installed, you can use that. If you do not have, direct installation from DVD will work fine just more work for you. Or you can make bootable USB, it will take less time to install OS.
