Which flash player is to be used to play Farmville?
The short answer is no.
Think of it this way, Flash player is more like windows, and farm town and farmvile are like Word and Excell. Farmtown and farmville work inside of Flash. If flash isn't up to date for one, chances are, it will have problems with the other. Just like if you tried to use word 2007 on windows 95.

Is there a way to make Windows XP compatible games to be compatible with Windows Vista?
Most games that are compatible with XP should be with Vista. The only difference might be how they utilize the new directX 10. I know I had the Release candidate version of vista and all my xp games worked with vista. However some of the older games may not work as well. Also, you might want to check your machines graphics hardware. To run vista fully with all of the GUI functions requires a pretty hefty machine. If you have a lower end card then Vista itself might be using all of the hardware's resources and not allowing any for the game(especially the more intenense ones). My machine has an ATI radeon 256 MB card and it does well. Of course this card is in the mediocre range but it does ok.
This is my computers information.

When you buy a new graphic card how do you install it?
It all depends on whether or not the graphic card is an "AGP" or "PCI" (if your computer is newer: 5 years or newer, you should have an AGP port)the easiest way to tell is if it is an "AGP" card the gold part on the bottom will have 3 segments, where as "PCI" has 1 or 2. Its Very easy to install...first power down your computer, then unplug all the cables on the back (not always neccessary, but to make sure you have no power coming in at all, you can't be too careful) open the access pannel on your computer, if it is a tower, then it should be on the left side looking at the computer. You might have to take the screws off of the back, just look at the left pannel, then look at the back if there are 2 screws (1 top 1 bottom) then you take those out and set them aside. Some brands are different but this is just a basic explanation. If it is a desk top model (lays flat) then there should be 5 screws on the back around the cover to remove. You should have purchased an "ESD" strap from the electronics store where you bought your card, but if you don't have one, then just ground yourself to the chassis before you touch anything on the inside. Make sure that your computer is on a non-conductive surface, I.E. Rubber mat, plastic desk...etc Metal is not a good thing to work on. Make sure that you are not doing this on carpet either...don't want a static charge to zap your new card and everything else you touch do you? Once you have your case open, look for the AGP port. It will be close to the top of the motherboard, usually near all of your onboard stuff...USB ports, Printer Port. This will be a female slot, sometimes brown in color. It will sit slightly farther back from the rest of the slots. Remove the old card (if there is one) if there is no card you will have to take off the protective metal cover off of the chassis. Insert your card into the slot, carefull not to force it. If you have to exert a lot of pressure, then you are doing it wrong. Be sure to apply even pressure to the front and back of the card while you are inserting it. Once it is in securly, use the screw that came off of the protective metal dust cover, (if it had one) to secure the card in place. If you didn't get on off of the dust cover, then the box that the card came with should have one. Leave the case off, and plug only your power cable, keyboard, mouse, and monitor back in. Start your computer up and install the software that came with the card, restart, once your computer comes back up the way it should, shut it down, put everything back together, and enjoy!

What are the shared folders in Windows?
Shared folder permissions are used to restrict access to a folder or file that is shared over the network. Folder sharing is normally used to grant remote users access to file and folders over the network. Web sharing is used to grant remote users access to files from the Web if Internet Information Services (IIS) is installed.
When folders are shared, it is important to keep in mind that you can share folders only, and not files. For users that are locally logged on to a computer, shared folder permissions are irrelevant. Shared folders that are moved are no longer shared. When shared folders are copied, the copy is not shared. The original shared folder however remains shared.
A few disadvantages associated with share permissions are listed below:
Shared folder permissions do not have as many permission options as NTFS permissions. The only shared folder permissions that can be assigned to users/groups are Read, Change, or Full Control.
Share permissions are not inheritable.
You cannot back up or audit shared folder permissions.
If you move or even rename a shared folder, the shared folder permissions for that particular folder no longer exist.

How can you setup your printer connected to a wireless xp to your Windows 7 PC?
Connecting a network is a straight forward easy process if you follow some simple rules.
1) use an address that will not conflict with internet address (IE 192.168.*.*)
2) make sure you SHARE the recources you are wanting to access
3) map the recources to the other machines in the network.
ok so I have a home network with a xp box on a wireless connected to a printer
the printer will take the address of the xp box. lets say your router has an address of 192.168.2.1, your xp box is 192.168.2.2 and your windows 7 box is 192.168.2.3 to use the xp box's printer I would simply make sure I have file and print sharing turned on the xp box and then open the printer interface and click on the printer you want to share,, then click SHARE,,, now in the win7 box open up network neighborhood and click on the xp box printer and install it, done it will now function as a printer for the win7 box.
this is assuming your router and your boxes are setup for DHCP,,, if not,, well call a computer store and ask a tech, they should not charge much to help you setup ,, good luck
