From my research, this seems an unlikely occurrence in most normal situations. However, it is possible and could be fatal. Take care and try to use caution; pay attention to signs your phone is overheating or the battery is bulging and use a surge protector if possible.

The first thing you would probably do is to call home and have one of your children read the list off to you. In the same situation in past years, you may have forgotten things or have had to drive all the way back home to get it. If your car breaks down, you automatically call for help instead of having to walk to find a pay phone. Cell phones have certainly made our lives much more convenient.

Cell phones have also changed the way that people interact with each other. When we call someone, we are actually calling the person and not a place. This enables us to be more spontaneous when making plans as you rarely get a busy signal and unlike a land line telephone, someone is always home. Cell phones also enable us to call if we are going to be late for an appointment, although this has led to cell phone users running late more often than those who do not have cell phones. These users seem to have adopted the attitude that appointment times are not concrete and use their cell phones to renegotiate their arrival time.

One of the greatest disadvantages of the cellular phone is the fact that we do not talk to strangers when traveling anymore. In the past, several people waiting for a bus would engage in a conversation while they were waiting. People who traveled the same routes every day might develop friendships along the way. This situation does not happen anymore. Today when people are waiting for a bus, they just pull out their cell phones and speak with old friends, missing out on the opportunity to make new ones. In large cities, many people do not know their neighbors, even though they may have lived in the same neighborhood for years. As a society, we are beginning to lose the face-to-face contact that was such an important part of our lives in the past.

Cell phones are a great asset in aiding in our every day lives. You should remember, however, to hang up every once in a while and pay attention to the world around you.

Cell phones have changed our lives in good ways and bad ways. Yes they are good to have if your child has missed a soccer practice but most people have become addicted to cell phones. Freaking out if they forgot it at home, got it taken away, or simply missed a call.

All in all, I'm not making saying that cell phones are a bad thing, I am simply saying that some people have become addicted to them. Not like a drug addiction or a alcohol addiction, but an addiction that makes you feel naked with out your phone. The best thing to do to increase your chances of a guy liking you is: send him suggestive messages, but not tasteless ones. You've just gotta flirt as much as you can. Of course, make sure you don't overdo it. arrange to meet the guy, as I said earlier, he can't like you if he can't see you, or touch you (in appropriate places, otherwise he's not much of a gentleman). try to act nervous when you see him, but be confident in who you are, and remember that you aren't in a relationship yet, and if you want to be you have to keep your distance to some extent. past experience has shown me that it's best not to overdo your first kiss as well. When I first kissed my girlfriend, we nearly fell out, because she thought I only wanted her for sex. We were kissing for three or four hours, but we were both drunk. You have to be careful so that you don't get the blame for anything, but this could just be my experience, after all, I am a guy, not a girl. I hope anything that I've written helps with your problem.

I think its just plain dangerous. People get hurt all the time from texting while driving. I heard this one story about a man who was texting on his phone while driving. He looks up after answering a text, and sees he is too late as he crashes into a family walking across the street. He felt horrible and so upset. Turns out, the family wasn't completely together. I believe it was a mom and two kids. The father, i think was either away or at home. When he found out, he was extremely saddened but he did not sue the man. Instead he cared for him and treated him like a long lost friend and acted like it never happened and that the man had never done anything.

I do believe that this story is completely true but i may have exaggerated a little bit of it. This goes to show that texting while driving is bad and very dangerous. But this is just my opinion. I would love to hear other people's thoughts.

I am surprised the driver was not prosecuted - well, you don't say he was. In many countries including the UK, and at least some US states, such behaviour is ILLEGAL - the incident described shows why!
