What are uses of computers in telecom sector?

As a telecommunication engineer this is my opinion. There are no any significant use of supercomputing in telecommunication reported yet but the telecom hardware are themselves like supercomputers. Apart from vast amount of high end computing hardware used in telecom generally for processing of subscriber related data, we have dedicated hardware which is able to connect multiple moving subscribers across the globe, all connected to a single point in a switch and the switch is able to handle multiple such cases at the same time. Just imagine 5 person are talking to a conference call, two from North America, one from India, one from Sweden and one from Africa and they all are moving at the same time so handover of their signals should also be taken care of at the same time from one cell to another and the switch is handling multiple such conversation simultaneously. This example indicates the complexity of telecom switches. Complexity and processing capacity of these devices is no way less than any supercomputer. they use dedicated processors generally designed from FPGAs and RISC arch is popular.

Does an unpaid cell phone bill hurt your credit?

Yes it does. I have a friend that did not pay her cell phone bill and when she went to buy a car it was on her credit report. It made her look bad because if she cannot pay for a cell phone bill how could she pay a car payment.

Answerif its one or two monthsIt will only hurt your credit with your cell phone provider. but every company has its limits. After 90 days with some carriers they will transfer your un-paid balance to a third party collection agency. This agency is the one that will put negative remarks on your credit report if they can not get payment or a solid payment arrangement. Even a non-payment of only 40 dollars can stay on your record for 7 years. this will effect everything you try to obtain by credit. this is known as R9.

How do you take apart an LG LX150 cell phone?

There are various reasons as to why you may need to take apart this phone, but here is a general description as to how to do this. You will need a set of small jeweler's screwdriver, and a razor knife. The phone consists of two primary sections. One section holds the keyboard and battery, and the other section has the displays. Each of these two primary sections are made of two halves. To take apart each of these two halves in both sections, you will need the basic tools that I mentioned earlier. There are a total of ten screws in the VX8300. Four screws are located in the section containing holding the screens and the camera, and six screws holding the main body that house the battery and the keys. All but four screws are covered by a rubber plugs which you must remove. Starting with the section that holds the display screen, use a needle to remove rubber plugs covering the four screws. These screws are tightened very well and sealed so it may take a little pressure to unscrew them, but try not to strip any of them! In the main section, two screws are located under the negative and positive signs under the battery cover, and the other two are located on each side of the battery. There are two plugs on the back side of the phone revealing the other two screws on the piece holding the battery and the keys. One plug is at the top next to the antenna, the other is also at the top, but just under and to the left of the headset jack. After all screws are taken out, you can take apart that side of the phone, but there is a trick. Each of the two sections of the phone is each made of two pieces and they are snapped together. You can gently create a slight gap around the edges by using a razor knife or a thin bladed knife to wedge and pry apart the two halves. When widening the gaps you must do this all around the phone at every part where the top and bottom are touching or you might break something. There is a small copper or gold colored, flat ribbon cable that runs through both halves of the phone and it is very important and should not be damaged! These wires connect to the circuit board but when you take the phone apart then it will be on the side without the circuitry, but when you put it back together it will snap back into place. If you want to remove and clean the circuitry then you can use the screwdriver to slowly pry it out by working around the edges to try to keep it even. The section that holds the display screens is much simpler. After removing the screws and creating the gaps by prying them apart, using the same technique that was described earlier, you can pull it apart. There will be two LCD screens and one small circuit board for the three media buttons. Just reverse the process to put the phone back together.

How do you find your old phone numbers?

Your best bet is to go to your local main branch library reference section. There, look up the Bresser's Cross Index Directory for the area where you lived, and the year. This will book will provide a listing of all street addresses, and a reverse look up for the telephone number.

If there is no Bresser's for the area you lived, try the Polk's Cross Reference Directory, or Johnson's, which may be known now as Cole's Cross Reference.

Some, not all, libraries keep back issues of the books, as new editions are added every year.

These are not the only Cross Reference Directories available; there are others. However, these are the industry standards for most major metropolitan areas and surrounding suburbs.

I have noted that the category is Mobile Phones, and cellphone numbers are not typically listed in most cross reference directories. Some do provide such. Try Polk's and Johnson's first if this is what you need.
