What to do to make a girl not go to college?

Why would you stop her from going to college? You should be encouraging her to go to college and get the education she needs to better her future. if your scared the relationship will fail, just be the friend she needs and be caring to her. granted most relationships fail within the first couple of weeks of a freshmen's year in college. but if it does, dont sweat it, you find some one else. but trying to stop her from going to college is bad, and if you accomplish this task then she deserves someone else, some who wont hold her back Answer hey if you try to hold her back she will realize that (she is not stupid you know) and will dump your sorry ass. so the best thing you can do is to be happy for her if you really like her.

Debate on disadvantage of mobile phones?

The different disadvantages of the cell phone usage are:

Cost

· With monthly costs starting at $40 for voice service, as of 2009, cell phone use is expensive. Added to that are the costs of the hardware, text messaging, roaming, and downloading. You also typically are locked into contracts lasting one or two years. If service is unsatisfactory, your only option for ending service is to pay termination fees that can be $150 or more.

Distraction

·Cell phones can ring in the middle of movies, music concerts, plays and other areas where silence is required, such as libraries, bookstores and hospital rooms. This happens despite signs and verbal requests. In addition, the glow of cell phone screens from text messages can annoy and distract people in the darkness of a theater.

Driving

· Cell phone use while operating a vehicle has caused so many accidents that five states had banned calls and 12 had prohibited text messaging, as of 2009. Furthermore, 18 states had banned all cell phone use by school drivers, while 21 had prohibited all use by novice drivers.

Lack of Privacy

· Because cell phones provide no audio feedback through the earpiece, some people talk much louder with cell phones than they do through land lines. This exposes the people around them to their conversations.

No Isolation

· Gone are the days of "getting away from it all." Cell phones make it difficult to remain out of contact with bosses, friends and family members. Even if you turn off your ringer, callers can fill your voice mail and your text inbox with messages.

Health

· Cell phones emit low levels of RF (radio frequency) radiation. Large amounts of this energy can heat and damage tissue, especially around the eyes and testicles, which do not have enough blood flow to carry away such heat. There is also concern that cell phones might cause cancer, headaches, sleep problems and memory loss

What is the song in the Cingular commercial with the floating phones where the girl dances around then one phone in the sea of floating phones lights up and she plucks it down and answers it?

That commercial brought tears to my eyes. I was alone on a work assignment in China away from my family for months and the girl's expression of innocent amazement reminded me so much of my then 15 year old daughter that it made me sad every time I saw it. I never saw the commercial in the US - only in China. I thought it was a Motorola commercial, so I'm glad you posted your question stating it was a Cingular commercial.

In 1973 Dr. Martin Cooper working for Motorola made the first cell phone. This phone was only used by the government until 1984 when it was offered for public use. The first cell phones were large, in a bag, looked like a dial phone, and had a battery that took up the entire bottom of the bag with the phone on top. It was very heavy and hard to carry.
