As Chromebooks access the internet using wifi, they cannot access the cloud based servers without wifi and will not be able to work for any programs that actually run on those servers.

Why do we still use IPv4?

IPv4, The 32 bit Internet address scheme is still in use and most networks, whether or and off the internet, are still using IPv4 and have not yet switched over to the newer IPV6. This is because their networks still work with IPv4; they feel there is no need to change what is not broken; not all equipment is capable of being switched to IPv6, and there may not be sufficient expertise to use IPv6. Also many internet service providers (ISPs) are not yet supporting it.

Although we are running out of assigned IPv4 addresses, we can continue with the current scheme for a while longer using Classless Inter-Domain Routing (CIDR) which redistributes some unused class A and B Network addresses as smaller networks. We can also use Network Address Translation (NAT) to allows multiple machines in a local network to use a single external IPv4 address.

The need for IPv6 is important to new Internet users who need a large number of externally visible internet addresses and the above methods are not sufficient. The use of the Internet-of-Things (IOT) when or if it ever becomes globally implemented and accepted will require a tremendous number of IP addresses and only IPv6 will be able to supply the required number of internet addresses for such personal devices.

How do you wireless connect samsung Blu-ray player to belkin router?

It may not be easy.

My assumption is that you want to listen to the TV without disturbing others in the room. This requires that your headphone connection should either cut off the TV's sound through the speakers, or should be independent of the TV's sound volume setting.

Many TVs have a sound jack, but not all of them cut off the speakers when a plug is inserted. The easiest way to hook up your wireless headphones to the TV is to plug the input to the transmitter into the TV's sound jack. But this will require the sound to be played at an audible level, and if the jack does not cut off the sound to the speakers, you may disturb others.

Some TVs have left-right sound outputs on the back or bottom of the set, usually marked with red and white jacks. If your TV has these, plug the transmitter for your wireless headphones into these jacks. They should be independent of the TV volume controls. But many TVs do not have sound outputs.

Finally, if you are watching TV through some device (like a blu-ray player) you may be able to plug the headphone transmitter into the player's stereo outputs. But if you're watching live sports, this won't help.

Why a laptop cannot detect wireless network?

The only reason your laptop would not recognize a wireless router is either you do not have a wireless network card or your network adapter card is not working. Also, there is a switch on the side of your laptop that has to be turned on for your wireless network to come on. Check the switch first, if that does not do it then go into Device Manager and right click on your network adapter card and see if it says that it is wireless.

If indeed it is a wireless modem, the most likely problem is that you do not have drivers.

How do you make wireless alarm?
