Boca Pharma released a generic formulation of Alprazolam 2mg, white, circular tablets that are scored in quarters on the back, and embossed with the hallmark: bp 633 on what is presumably the front. Upon reading many different sites regarding the quality and effectiveness of such a generic, I personally find these generic tablets to work just as well as all of the others that I have been prescribed for social and generalized anxiety disorder. I do not take these pills to get high, rather I take them to mitigate the crippling anxiety I have been suffering with my entire life. Now, it is true that different manufacturers use different inert ingredients to press their pills, and these variants of of ingredients could greatly effect the efficacy of the drug prescribed. If you have problems achieving the same amount of anxiety relief that one was expecting from another Brand Name Generic, I suggest you speak to your doctor about switching to a brand that provides better, more long lasting relief. I have no problems with these pills and will continue to take them. I hope this helps some of you out there who are having problems with these pills. remember, it is not the active ingredient, but the pill fillers that may be interrupting maximum absorption for your particular body chemistry. I dont see why there would be a problem since there is only a once or twice dose of xanax, but it very addictive so be carefull. One .05 tablet should be good if you never use xanax. Then one for the return flight. I dont think 1mg is appropriate if you dont have a tolorance.

xanax and haldol liquid, now, in an advanced state, don't affect much my way of good thinking unlike risperdal.

I'm going to require them from the doctor after having experienced each of them but I doubt if they match together.

Xanax may help calm the effects of adipex but you should never take more xanax than prescribed or more often in an effort to counteract adipex. I take both medications and sometimes taking xanax around bedtime can be helpful but this may or may not work. Try not to take adipex too late in the day.

If I were you I wouldn't take st john wort. I've heard that it can make ptsd worse in some cases. I would try wellbutrin or budiproprion (Spelling) instead. Slowly wean from cymbalta. It can make you severely depressed and or manic even if you have never been. Also wellbutrin and the budi meds are the most natural meds they make for ptsd, depression, etc. if that's what your worried about. Good luck! :)

A Good way to get off of Xanax Bars is to Slowly decrease the amount that you take every 2 weeks so you wont suffer from any withdrawals.

I was taking 1mg, Four times a day for 5 Years = 4mg per day

Here is the method that worked for me:

1mg, Three times a day for 2 weeks = 3mg per day

1mg, Two times a day for 2 weeks = 2mg per day

0.5mg, Three times a day for 2 weeks = 1.5mg per day

0.5mg, Two times a day for 2 weeks = 1mg per day

NOTE: At this point, I used 0.5mg Xanax Tablets so I could break them in half to make 0.25mg pieces.

0.25mg, Three times a day for 2 weeks = 0.75mg per day

0.25mg, Two times a day for 2 weeks = 0.5mg per day

0.25mg, Once per day for 2 or 3 weeks = 0.25mg per day

At this point, I was able to stop without having any withdrawals.

I am prescibed atarax and xanax. I take 6 bars a day. Only take atarax with xanax is if you wanna sleep and ruin your xanax. But hey, atarax is relaxing and comfortable for sleep.

No, dont drink too much while on xanax, maybe a beer, but nothing more than that. I've had several blackouts and crazy mood swings and night terrors when i used to mix xanax and alcohol......it would not get it out, it would make it worse. small doses of both i recommend, I'm not a doctor or anything i just have a lot of street smarts and book smart under my belt so trust me, mixing any kind of benzodiazopine or opiates with alcohol is not a good idea.

I was using Xanax exclusively for flying. On my last trip to China I took a pill and the next day developed a severe ice pick headache on the left side of my temple shooting towards the ear. This lasted for 4 months. I did not make an association with Xanax at the time. I thought that the headache was a result of being in the high altitude in Tibet for 2 weeks as we ascended to the Everest base camp. When got back to the US, consulted my neurologist 2 times as the ice pick throbbing would not go away. He said no worries, had an MRI, all normal.

Recently my mother was visiting, I gave her Xanax for the flight back, she slept like a baby for 12 hours only to wake up to an ice pick headache on the left side of her temple, just like mine. It has been a week now that she has suffered this horrific headache.

In the meantime, to cope with my headaches I totally stopped drinking any caffeinated beverages and started drinking a gallon of lemon water to get rid of the toxins. My headaches are gone, but it took 4 months after the last Xanax to get rid of them.

I sleep better and I have lost a significant amount of weight due to stopping of the blood sugar fluctuations that coffee produces.
