It is nearly impossible to make a good deck that COMBINES these engines, simply because the strategies are both very different and you need different Field Spells for both of the decks. Try out one of these, and you might just do good in your next tournament. However, that Synchro Monster may be affected by a card effect such as Book of Moon. In this case, the Synchro Monster is changed to face-down Defense Position. You can then Flip Summon it when possible.

No you cannot. Even if you set cards on your oppoent's turn, the rule for Traps is that they can only be activated during the turn after they are set. Once your turn rolls around you activate your new set card.

You activate Assault Mode Activate and send a face up Stardust Dragon you control to the graveyard. Then, you special summon Stardust Dragon/Assault mode from your deck. If the assault mode monster is in your hand, you can't special summon it. This is why you would also want Assault Teleport.
