5-hydroxytryptophan may interact with many other medicines, possibly increasing side effects or resulting in decreased therapeutic effects. Do not take 5-hydroxytryptophan without first talking to your doctor if you are taking any other medicines, especially any of the following: * a monoamine oxidase inhibitor such as tranylcypromine (Nardil), phenelzine (Parnate), or isocarboxazid (Marplan); * a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor such as citalopram (Celexa), fluvoxamine (Luvox), fluoxetine (Prozac), paroxetine (Paxil), or sertraline (Zoloft); * a tricyclic antidepressant such as amitriptyline (Elavil), amoxapine (Asendin), clomipramine (Anafranil), desipramine (Norpramin), doxepin (Sinequan), imipramine (Tofranil), nortriptyline (Pamelor), protriptyline (Vivactil), or trimipramine (Surmontil); * bupropion (Wellbutrin, Zyban); * trazodone (Desyrel) or nefazodone (Serzone); * venlafaxine (Effexor); * mirtazapine (Remeron); * an HIV/AIDS protease inhibitor such as indinavir (Crixivan), amprenavir (Agenerase), nelfinavir (Viracept), ritonavir (Norvir), or saquinavir (Fortovase, Invirase); or * an HIV/AIDS nonnucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor such as delavirdine (Rescriptor), efavirenz (Sustiva), or nevirapine (Viramune). You may not be able to take 5-hydroxytryptophan, or you may require a dosage adjustment or special monitoring during treatment if you are taking any of the medicines listed above. Drugs other than those listed here may also interact with 5-hydroxytryptophan or affect your condition. Phentermine and Zoloft?

"Phen-Pro" is the combining (cocktail) of Phentermine and a low dosage of Prozac(Fluoxetine). Any one of the tailing antidepressants: Zoloft, Paxil or Effexor may be used in lieu of Prozac(Fluoxetine). The use of the antidepressant in the Phen-Pro cocktail is dissociated to imprint. The cocktail is requisite because the effects of Phentermine, when used unequaled, minify over time. The Phen-Pro cocktail enables Phentermine to work finer and for a longest period of time. The compounding of Phentermine and Fluoxetine does not appear to causa the problems that resulted from the custom of Fen-Phen.

What happens if a person takes 8 Zoloft pills?

Not a whole lot really. I did it the other day (I'm not trying to kill myself) but I just felt really hot. Also for the past few days I've had a severe headache. Even a massive overdose if Prozac couldn't kill you. It would make you sick maybe, but not kill you. I hope this answers your question :).

I still had to sit in the front because of my car sickness, but NO don't take Dramamine if you are taking Zoloft

What is the best anti-depressant to replace Lexapro with?

Hi, I have currently been weaning from lexapro for the last couple of weaks and now am off all together. I am still having the symptoms that others are having but they dont sound as severe. I started taking an amino acid called 5-htp. It claims to naturally increase your own bodys seritonin level. I take two 100 mg pills a couple hours before bed. I am not sure if most people need to start off with such a high dose. I did because I was also weaning off a sleeping pill, which has also been a success. The 5-htp also comes in a 50mg pill. I hope this info was a little helpful.
