It should be below the plastic cover....under a 5v sensor to the left side of the intake manifold...it's there, below the 5V sensor...go here to check it out: http://macgp.clubgp.com/howto/pcv/pcv.html ...it is a very similar setup and you should be ok. Good luck...be careful not to crack the plastic...note position etc...
The 2001 Pontiac Grand Am 2.4 liter engine PCV valve is located on the firewall. The valve will be on the drivers side firewall in the engine compartment.
You can find the PCV valve beneath the MAP sensor located in the plenum at the right front of the engine.
It's the pcv valve (pressure control valve), and it's located on top of the engine block to the right hand side, can't miss it.
where is the expansion valve located
on a 1998 Pontiac gan am ,they do not have a pcv valve.
Pontiac PVC Valve is located on the Driver's side rear valve cover.
The PCV valve is located directly ontop of the engine block and is connected by a rubber hose on one end connected into the engine with the other end you will find it on the lower right (topside) of the engine : D
It is located on the drivers side of the engine right next to the crank case..........and I think that you mean EGR valve.
where is valve cover located on a 2001 Pontiac Grand-Am 4 cyl
As I recall, that engine does not have an EGR valve.
there is hose running from the top of the engine to the air intake. your pcv valve is located on the engine side of that hose. Mostly correct except there is no PCV valve; there's just a straight pipe going from the valve cover to the air plenum intake hose. Hope this helps. RJK75
The coolant bleeder valve should be on the front passenger side of the engine. It will be on one of the metal hoses. The bleeder valve on the 3400 V6 engine is located on a black stem where the water pump connects to the engine block.
