Laos or Lao PDR is in South East Asia, It is only landlocked country in the ASEAN countries. It is near China to the north, Thailand to the west, Burma to the north west, Vietnam to the east and Cambodia to the south.
90% the main source of grain for breakfast will be a couple of handfuls of sticky rice a person. Fried dried meats, dried fish, and sometimes egg would be be served with it. A light/thin pork or chicken based broth is sometimes served with breakfast.
The Lao traditional cuisine is centered around rice. For farmers, they tend to stick to sticky (glutinous) rice as that keeps them full while they're working.
