YOu have to remove the brake caliper, rotor, ,take the nut off that holds the shaft, disconnect the strut, and lower control arm to get them out of the way. Loosen the shaft by putting a large screw driver between the transaxle and the half shaft and it should snap out. Replace in reverse order. NOTE: when inserting the new shaft make sure IT SNAPS firmly into place,,,try to pull it out by hand you shouldn't be able to.
It's not a real difficult job but get yourself a Haynes Manual at an auto parts store, IT will show you entire procedure.

The U-joints are installed and glued at the factory to the rear end and yoke of the drive shaft. Heating the end caps with a torch will force the glue out of the side weep holes where it was injected. Clean well and install new U-Joint and expansion clips provided. Reinsall Drive Shaft to markings.
