Corn in many countries is primarily produced for ethanol and livestock production, with a small percentage on human consumption. Thus, in other words, the countries that "eat" a lot of corn aren't feeding it specifically to humans. The United States, China, Brazil, Mexico, Japan, India, Canada, Egypt, South Korea, South Africa, Indonesia, Romania, Nigeria, Serbia and Montenegro, Hungary, and Malasia are all the top sixteen countries that use or consume corn in some manner--feed, ethanol, or food.
