England would be west of Canada. Parts of southern Europe and parts of northern Africa, would be west of the USA. England is in the northwest of Europe, off the coast of mainland Europe. Going west from even the most northerly of the lower 48 states of the USA you would come across the Atlantic and pass south of England. The only part of the USA that England would be west of would be the Aleutian Islands off the south of Alaska. Going west from some of those you would first cross Canada and then the Atlantic towards northern Europe, crossing England. So although many people have this idea that Europe is directly west of the USA, the reality is quite different. You will clearly see this if you look at a map or globe.
