I had the same problem with my 92 voyager when I bought it. For me it turned out to be the upper spring plates on the front struts. Had them replaced and it's been quiet ever since. NOTE: You might have to do an alignment if this is you situation as well.
Check the struts, relief springs, shocks or other suspension parts. Sounds like you may have dirt somewhere or lube issues.
sounds like your solenoids are leaking, usually in your air bag (suspension). or a hose.
Shocks are exactly what it sounds like. Especially if the bushings are older and dried out.
I think your shocks are sticking or getting stuck as they move up and down. You probably need to replace them. It could also be that one of the components of the suspention is loose or worn out so check all of the bushings and ball joints.
Most likely one of the bushings in the suspension moving a bit when you hit a bump, track it down and tighten it if you can. also check the shocks they will squeak when going bad
gears?
my '98 had sounds as if front end would fall to pieces with each turn of the wheel. replaced ball joints and shocks (at home-3hours, 350.00 including new press for our garage!) now good as new and very quiet again.(132000 miles)
Sounds like its from one side? Ur shocks
Sounds like a verb to me.
Have your vechiles suspension inspected, at this point sounds like something has either broken or come loose. May be a snapped coil.
Sounds like the tires are to big or the suspension has been modified.
it depends where the popping sound is coming from it could be the steering shaft if it sounds under the steering column if not check your suspension inner and outer tie rods idler arm for excessive play
