What is the distance in miles from the southern tip to the northern tip of Alaska?

While Alaska does have a northern tip, the main body of the state doesn't exactly have a geographic southern tip. The southernmost part of Alaska is way out west in the Aleutian Islands, Amatignak Island to be specific. The southern tip of that island is about at latitude 51o 13' 08", at 179o longitude, and is over a thousand miles from the southernmost part of the main body of the state. Perhaps the best measurement of the "height" of Alaska would be to measure a straight line directly southward from the northern tip of the state to the point where this line meets the southern coast. This line, starting from the tip at 156o 28' 47" longitude, extending straight south meets the sea at the southern border of Poltava Island, just off the Alaskan coast. This distance is approximately 995.6 miles.

Is Alaska the coldest state in us?

Alaska is a state, not a city. If you're asking if the coldest city in the US is in Alaska, then probably, depending on exactly how you define "coldest city". At any given moment, it's possible (if not terribly likely) that the coldest temperature measured in any US city is for a city not in Alaska.

Driving time: 70 hrs

- is based on traveling non-stop in good driving conditions. How long does it take to drive from Alaska to Argentina?

This blog has part of the answer - http://argentinaalaska.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html

I met David in Las Cruces On April 1. He and his wife have used 150 days to drive from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia Argentina to Las Cruces New Mexico. Obviously, not straight through. He told me he has traveled about 18,000 miles, but they started in Buenos Aires, drove south to Ushuaia and started from there.

If you read the blog, you will see that they started on November 22, 2007 from Ushuaia. Argentina. That is about 4.5 months to Las Cruces, New Mexico (USA). David believes that in 2.5 months he will be in Fairbanks, Alaska. Google says that it is about 3800 miles. So, I think you can see the do not plan to rush.

Another link of interest is http://www.pacycletest.com/images/routev3.swf

The route is different from David's and the direction goes north to south, they will ride bicycles, and they don't start until June 2008. However, the link shows each leg of the planned trip and the miles.

This link http://www.argentinaalaska.com/eng/recorrido.htm

provides a map of a trip from 2000 to 2003. They wondered around the U.S. so this does not get to the heart of your question. Nevertheless, you get some documentation about the total miles and can cut out the portions that you are not interested in.

To summarize, let's say that you will drive 18,000 miles and average 300 miles a day. In theory, you would have it done in 60 days. But, don't forget to stop and smell the roses.

Is there a native Alaskan?

Native Alaskans as we all know are the original natives or indigenous people who have settled in Alaska before the arrival of the Europeans

It is believed that the earliest native inhabitants of what is now Alaska were the Thule people - who spread from there to the east and are believed to be the ancestors of all the Inuit peoples from Alaska to Greenland. They seem to have inhabited the coast of Alaska at least as early as 1000 CE. The Inuit/Inupiat are the descendants of these original inhabitants and are considered Alaska natives.
