Bolivia is unique in that it has two working capitals. The official constitutional capital is the city of Sucre. However, La Paz is where the country's government conducts business and is also considered a capital city.

Nobody knows who named Lake Titicaca. It is believed that the name was derived from Titikala, which is a sacred rock on the Island of the Sun. Lake Titicaca is the largest lake in South America.

Bolivia is well-known for its cultural diversity, and for being one of the world's most biologically diverse countries. When we think of some of Bolivia's native animals, the camel or alpaca usually come to mind. This should come as no surprise as camels, including the llama, the guanaco and of course the alpaca, are indeed one of the country's most popular native animals.

Other popular native animals in Bolivia include the jaguar, the giant otter, the maned wolf, the chinchilla and the Andean flamingo.

The national dish of Bolivia is Saltenas. Saltenas are pastries that are often filled with meat such as beef, chicken, or pork. The meat is mixed with a sauce that may range from sweet to very spicy in flavor. Sometimes vegetables are included.

It has no access to the ocean because of a war with Chile in the 1880s. After losing the war, Peru and Bolivia both had to cede land to Chile, which included all of the seacoast that was previously Bolivian territory.

There is no La Paz as far as I know in the United states, but La Paz is the capital city of Bolivia, and there is a La Paz, Mexico

The largest export in money terms is Service. But the major ones to be found interesting were soy beans, hydrocarbons, and zinc. While looking at hydrocarbons and most likely talk about the pit falls, more interesting in the applications and amounts of zinc exported from Bolivia. Thinking incorrectly that it mainly came from Pacific region and America. But for it to show up on the major exports list shows that it must be an abundant resource.

Simon bolivar is one of many famous people in Bolivia. He was the person to declare Bolivia a republic country and he was the first president of Bolivia.

Incorrect. Simon Bolivar is known as the "liberator" of Bolivia (and other South American countries) because he led some of the battles in the wars for independence from Spain, but he was Venezuelan and was never a Bolivian president. Bolivia's first president was Antonio José de Sucre after whom Bolivia's capital city (Sucre) is named.

Bolivia is in South America, bordering North and East by Brazil. It supposedly should be in the Southern and Western Hemisphere.
