The best way to stop crayons from writing is to leave them in the box.

I clean/polish my nickel silver the way I do any other silver/silver plate -- with a commercial silver cleaner/polish.

Unfortunately this will be difficult at best. Both are plastics. Spray foam is very tenacious. It bonds really well to most things (including tubs). That said; I have been successful at removing overspray from many surfaces over the last 20+ years.

Now, depending on the level of overspray, you might be satisfied with the results achieved using a 3-M Clay Block and their clear liquid spray polish.

Use a soft rag and liquid polish to gently remove the foam splatters. Spritz' the area with polish and "Gently" start rubbing the area with the clay block. This will produce decent results.

IF the damage is worse, or you are still plagued with "Spots", then your next approach (much more aggressive) may be needed.

Once you have clay blocked the area, use 1200-1600 grit "Wet" sand paper with cloth backing. VERY GENTLY, with the liquid polish; wet the surface and sand the affected area. Follow this process with a polishing compound. Like that from DuPont.

Remember; doing any of the above could make the tub look much better. If you still aren't satisfied; There are people that can Re- gel coat the finish. That process may cost as much as a tub, but may be cheaper than the cost to R/R it.

Some vinyls will stain and there is nothing you can do to remove it. When this happens, it is usually caused by having asphalt on your shoe soles. If this is the case, the stain is in the seal coat of the vinyl and does not come out.

If you try bleach, be careful of about the amount you use and how long it remains on the floor. This too, can be a staining agent over time.

Without any details other than "Washing machine can't wash after water full?" I can only offer you a few possible culprits. The timer (the dial you set) may be defective (dirty contacts, etc.) The timer relay - specifically when the water reaches its full level the circuit now "knows" it's time for the wash cycle. Transmission - might be too worn to handle the weight of a full tub (if your spin cycle works okay, I would think tranny not a problem then). Tom Ridge

Glass bottles for feeding babies can be cleaned by washing in mild dish soap, rinsing, and then boiling in a pan of water. Glass bottles cannot be boiled unless they are heat proof or oven proof.

I used 91% isopropyl alcohol and a rag to remove theraputty from my micro fiber couch cushions. It removed the theraputty easily.

Mr Clean Magic Eraser are amazing when it comes to removing hard to remove stains and even permanent markers. If that doesn't work then may consider getting small bottles of paint to match your walls and do touch ups.

There is new technology and understanding of soap scum. Soap scum is calcium stearate and magnesium stearate. Try using BioWorx.us "green" soap scum cleaner. They have discovered how to remove soap scum with a corn based surfactant. They show interesting laboratory proof they dissolve soap scum while other cleaners can't.

Showers also have what is called sebum which vinegar and most other homemade products can't clean. Sebum is the waxy oil our bodies secrete.

A good shower cleaner must remove soap scum, scale and sebum to be effective.

Go to the dealer that sold you the counter top and get a laminate counter top cleaner that is recommended by them. So now that you know what brand they recommend you can find it cheaper somewhere else.

Yes it is hard and very dusty. I've had to do this a number of times and found the most effective way is to rent a large, heavy floor sander. Use 36 grit paper and sand away the junk -It gets very dusty, so have a good mask, goggles and hair covering. - oh BTW - it's pretty back-breaking too !

You can hang them on hooks. You can pack them in boxes. Or you can use a jewelry organizer.

First you want to spread some nutella on the soles, make sure you dont get any on the top or the sides of the sandals. Next dip your sandals in nitric acid. This will definitely take off any dirt particles you had on your sandals. Note* Be careful when using nutella. It is a very addictive subtance and you dont want any nutella contacting your toungue or mouth in any way.

For any Sharpie stains, there are a number of basic products you can try, but results can be inconsistent.

If you're willing to make a specific purchase, the most likely product to work is called Amodex Ink and Stain Remover, which is specifically referenced on Sharpie's FAQ page.

To use the product, just remember to apply it before trying anything else, and you're almost certain to remove the marker stain. For tougher stains, you can use your fingernail or a brush to help lift the dye from the fabric into the stain remover.

The larger the stain, or the darker the ink was applied, the more you can expect to work it. Let the stain soak a bit in the stain remover, use your brush a little more, and use additional applications if the ink doesn't completely come out on the first attempt.

While it's best to not use anything else on the stain first (because that can "set" the stain), the Amodex still has a strong chance to work, and if it doesn't, you likely will be unable to remove the stain with anything. Just keep in mind that you can always try a little more, and there is always a chance the stain will come out with enough work.

Depends what kind and how much glue. -If it's pieces that have dropped or spilt

than try slipping a sharp craft knife under the edge and flicking it off. If it comes off then wipe residue with Goof-Off.

To clean perspiration stains from taffeta lay the outfit down and apply stain remover to it. Repeat if necessary and then throw in the dryer.

It depends a great deal on what type of glue you are dealing with. Most glues are best removed by scraping them off with a razor blade - the same way you remove paint. Some glues can be softened by applying an appropriate solvent such as acetone or toluene which then makes the glue easier to remove. Some glues can be softened by CAREFUL application of heat such as from a blow dryer or heat gun. A few glues can be reduced to ash with a lower temperature flame and then wiped away. It really depends on the composition of the glue.

take a special cloth or silver cleaner and gently rub the tarnish away. do not use bleaches or ammonia, as this will increase tarnishing. if u dont have a special cloth try the microfiber cloths used to clean glasses or to polish instruments.

You can stain them but you have to sand them first (in one direct) to give them a tooth and create a pattern for the stain to follow. You have to remember that vinyl is plastic and that it sweats. Once you've broken it's seal and applied another chemical, you are opening the door for a reaction (as minute as it may seem). If you can avoid this process and come up with a better solution, like using the spray paint for plastics (Home Depot), you should.

To remove gasoline odor from clothing, you will need to use baking soda and water. A prewash stain remover would work well before hand. The stain remover can be added to clothes before you wash the clothes.

Nail polish remover.

You could use nail polish remover but what works easier and faster is acid-tone and that's the stuff they use in salons ok i hope you like my advise
