How do you remove sharpie from plastic?
Could be tough. You might try a little bit of rubbing alcohol with a cotton swab. If the sticker is printed under the plastic surface, you should be okay, if it is printed on the plastic, you could take it off. Work carefully and test it!
How do you make a homemade cleanser that cleans mold off walls?
The best material to do this is simple household bleach or Sodium hypochlorite.
It kills the mould spores as well as cleans it. Dilute the bleach with water so that it is just strong enough to do the job. Rinse off with clean water after.
Be particularly careful with the bleach around metal parts like window and door frames. Wash it off well as bleach can stain and also promote rust if left in places like window frame heads .
Cheers, Bill
How do you remove face paint from clothes?
Mommy was a hero! My son's shirt had both water-based paint and oil-based wood stain on it!! Mineral spirits worked wonderfully to remove oil-based wood stain from it -- a 100% polyester futbol jersey (Barcelona). It also had water-based paint on it that had dried but was only about 2 hours old. I chose to use the mineral spirits first to treat the wood stain by simply pouring a little on each spot and let it sit or apply more until it faded. I then washed in cold with regular laundry detergent. I then went to work on the paint by scrubbing with an abrasive soap bar I have (called hog wash) that is for scrubbing stains. Using that and warm-hot water, the paint came out too. One more wash as normal and you can't tell it was ever stained!!! I bet an abrasive soap like Lava could work?? Good luck.
How do you lock in fabric dye from running?
Here is a useful link (though slightly disappointing if you're looking for a simple solution). Apparently, the traditional salt/vinegar solutions don't really work depending on the dye. I personally would be a bit nervous taking a chance... but this site does give some products that hand-dyeing people use that are better:

How do you remove coffee stains out of clothing?
Wash the item in alcohol. Use the smallest amount of alcohol needed to wet down the garment and work the color from area of the garment that has not been bleached into the area that has. Do this in a well ventilated area. Works for darker colored items of a single shade, I have not tried it on lighter colors. Be careful if you are working with an item that is multi color. The alcohol will wash the color from one area into an other.
Rinse out the item in water when done making sure all the alcohol has been removed. You can then launder the item or dry clean it as you normally would. Good luck!
I just tried this on a pair of dark navy cotton shorts. I haven't washed and dried them yet, but I will say that it has actually worked quiet well. I'm letting the alcohol dry first, then I plan to toss them in the dryer for about 5 to 10 mins of high heat. Bleach is used to remove stains on white clothes. But when used on colour clothes, it removes the colour as well. This process can not be reversed . The answer above is correct that bleaching cannot be reversed.
There are two work-arounds I know of:
First fix... This one is temporary & will need to be repeated:
Magic Marker & Sharpie (or Fabric Marker) With Clean, Dry Clothing, Color the spots with both Magic Marker & Sharpie. The two different markers give you more time between fixes and a better chance to match the colors. A Fabric Marker, if you can find the right color, will hold up quite well but still needs to be touched up.
Dry un-spotted clothes right away to help "set" the color. (Note well: The marker can stain other clothes in the dryer)
Second Fix:
Using dye remover, remove the existing color. (This makes the whole garment the same shade with no blotches)
Then garment can be redyed.
Note on previous comment: "alcohol is '''flammable''' so therefore, it is '''not''' a good idea to put clothing in the dryer which has alcohol on it. Unless of course, you like the idea that your house could be blown to pieces and you could end up in the hospital." That isn't true BECAUSE he stated to wash the alcohol off thoroughly. Read a little.
Bleach does not leave a stain. It destroys the dye that colors the garment, turning that part of the garment white or a lighter shade. This is a permanent condition. The only thought I have is to completely bleach the garment white. Then, after all of the bleach is rinsed out, it could be dyed another color.
Extremely carefully!! If what you own are genuine antiques, do not even attempt to clean them yourself. Get a professional to have a look at it. Perhaps go to a museum and see what they say about cleaning it. It is all too easy to remove the fine patina that develops on the blade and fittings. This devalues an antique knife like nothing else. Have a professional restorer do the job.

You can remove candle wax spills from wooden furniture or just about any type of wood surface. First you need to soften the wax with a hairdryer set on medium heat to melt the wax. When the wax starts to melt wipe it off with a soft cloth, you will see it move like butter. Wipe the area with a mild vinegar solution and polish as you normally would for a great shine!

The answer to the question "How do I clean my coins?" is always the same - No, Don't, Never, Stop.
Cleaning with anything you have around the house will almost certainly damage the natural surface of the coins and induce chemical changes that will eventually make their condition worse than if you'd left them alone.
It's kind of like on Antiques Roadshow when someone shows up with a 1780 piece of furniture that they "cleaned up" to make it look better for the program. The appraiser grits their teeth and says something like, "well, in this condition it's worth $2000 but if you had left it alone, I could have auctioned it for five times that much".
How do you remove dried sunscreen from an LCD TV screen?
I found a site that recommends equal parts water and 70% rubbing alcohol. Use a microfiber cloth to clean it with...no harsh pressure. However, I had to increase the amount of alcohol that I used to get it off of mine. It worked great though, and I think the screen might even look the cleanest that it ever has! Hope this helps!
How do you remove waxbuild up from manufactured wood flooring?
I would try using a hot iron - place a rag on top of the wax and use the heat of the iron to melt the wax onto the rag. I've never done it, but seems like it should work. :) Good Luck!
If the door has a primer or a paint on it then no. Stain needs open grain to work. Stain seeps into the pores of the wood. If there is a coating, i.e. the primer or paint, then the stain will have nowhere to go. It will just sit on top of the coating until it is wiped off or dries in ugly blotches.

White Out Stain Removal
Step 1.
Use WD 40 liberally on both sides of the stain. Allow the WD-40 to penetrate through the stain. The stain will begin to loosen. Test by touching the stain. Small flecks of the white out should begin to come loose. Rinse thoroughly.
Step 2. Lay the clothing on a clean white towel. Sponge nail polish remover onto both sides of the stain. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat the application of nail polish remover and continue to rinse until the stain is removed. Rinse the stained area thoroughly.
Step 3. Finally, to remove any hidden traces of the stain, apply a stain stick, spray, or gel to the stained area and wash normally.
Good alternative white out remover: A really good way to get white out out of clothing is a citrus based cleaner. I used one that had orange citric acid in it and it got all of the white out out of my black pants. Took multiple applications but got all of it out. After that just washed the pants normally.
