Sometimes "bestfriends" that we have had will change with time as our interests change as well as attitudes and general selves. It is not unusual to feel the way you do and friends will come and go throughout your life but be sure to choose wisely as well as be very aware of true friends rather than ones that may just be using you or taking advantage of you or even will turn on you which you can tell by the way they carry themselves. Your just evolving as everything else and your once bestfriends can still continue as friends but you will eventually drift away. True friends that you do find and you continue to have hold on to them as they are hard to find.

There is a good friendship and a bad friendship. The good friendship involves sharing your secrets with your mates and trusting them to keep it safe, a good friendship is also being there for each other in the good times and the bad. Now for the bad friendship. A bad friendship is usually build on lies, popularity and fear. Lies can hold a friendship together but for only so long they make you think you are a total match for each other until it was build upon lies. Popularity can hold a friendship together because honestly, everone wants to be with the "cool" crowd and you can't deny it so why not become friends with the populars. The bad side is it will come back to nip you in the but cos at some stage there gonna find out. and lastly Fear. fear that if you tell them they will humiliate you, say your deepest secrets, spread rummours or even hurt you.

You need to see how she acts around other people as well as you. If she's only flirty or is extra flirty around you, then she may like you. If she is like that around everyone, then she's just a friendly person. Be nice and make her laugh. Start to know what she knows about. once she tells you ask questions about it. be comftable about what she is talking about. after she knows that you are interested in her interests, she will ask what you like and DO NOT go babbling on about one thing like football. don't interrupt and always let her say her own interests first.

4. Relax. Just relax. keep it cool. if you find yourself getting nervous just smile and relax.

5. Be yourself. Girls dont like fake boys. Don't try and impress her with a stupid wacky dangerous thing because the girl will just find you as a creep.

6. Spend time together. LOTS of time together.

7. Appearance/hygiene. If you are unhygienic. let's say if you shower once a week. you are going to stink. no girl likes a stinky smelling boy. Appearance as well. she wont like you if you have lots of dandruff in your hair and you go around wearing brown skanky sweaters. be more pizazz! spike your hair up a bit.

8. this is it. by now you should be really good friends so once you are really good friends, you will never go back on this and you will just talk normally like you would to your other friends.

What their fav color is, when's their birthday, sports, etc but don't sound to nosy ask casually and ask some other people around them as well.

You could ask them to go out with you as skating, a walk, a movie, or even together with a group of friends.

That is wrong.... you need to think bout something: is your best friend important to you? Do you care bout your best friend. you need to keep the best friends. they are the ones that stick around. Girlfriend/boyfriends come and go but there are those friend that stick closer than a brother and that is your best friend. Forget about her. My guy friend had that same problem he liked me but I was dating his best friend he stayed away because he knew what would happen.

This is my question btw, well this is what is happening. Her breasts have 'suddenly' grown and she has been boasting about it. I asked what bra size she was and she said a 32C but sometimes 32B. She showed me the front of her bra (whilst she was wearing it) and it wasn't padded (I felt the top). Then, at our sleepover she took her bra off (wearing a top) and she almost flat chest. My dad and I are best buddy's. And I say that because we go fishing together, on road trips and he is that person who is always there. He is kind of like a friend but I don't like to say a friend because friends can be so temporary. He is not. I love him, yes I do. But he is also like a true buddy. For some people who aren't in a relationship and/or live far from family sometimes have an animal as their buddy. (A dog or cat, horse, etc.) In stead of having a soul mate, they have a "buddy".
