Pselliopus Barberi is a species of Assassin Bug [yep that's right 'Assassin bug'(what an awesome name)] from the family of Reduviidae,though it is more commonly referred to as the 'Orange Assassin bug'. This certain species of Assassin Bug are from 12 - 16.0 mm in Length and are orange with black stripes on their head, antenna ,lower body and legs. They have six legs, two folded wings which overlap giving the back a characteristic shape, they also have a beak/nose[also called proboscis] which they use as there weapon, no feather or fur, no fins and no tail.
The Pselliopus Barberi can be found in some parts of the USA and Virginia[was not able to find more specific answers].They are usually found on shrubs, on plants, in crevices in the ground, sheltering under bark or rotten logs or stones and in cracks or holes in tress. There mainly anywhere where there's vegetation with lots of nutrients and other insects/creatures to feed on.
