Soccer is the most popular sport in Mexico, followed by baseball. Bullfighting is still somewhat popular in some regions and cities, such as Guanajuato, Puebla or Queretaro. However, this "sport" has been continuously criticized due to obvious animal cruelty, and the interest of the public has diminished accordingly.

The best Mexican soccer player ever would probably be Hugo Sanchez. Some other players that might give him a run for his money would be Borgetti, and Cuathemoc, they are also favorites in Mexico. At the present time, andre guadado and Javier Hernandez are probably the gems of the team.
