What causes intense pain in fingers-not carpal tunnel syndrome?
If the pain is in your pinky and ring fingers, it could indicate a disk herniation in the cervical spine. Most people don't realize that the cervical (neck) nerves control our arms and fingers, and nerve compression there is felt in the arm and / or fingers.
If you've ever had a whiplash occurrence, you're more susceptible to this problem. The disks involved are usually the C5/6 or C6/7 disks. You might even feel some pain in your shoulder.
Getting it corrected cannot be overstated - without proper diagnosis and treatment, eventual paralysis can set in, or nerve damage as well.
The best person to see for this is a Neurosurgeon - they can easily tell if your problem is cervical disk related.
So you understand how easy it is for this to be misdiagnosed, my own cervical disks were severely damaged and the pain in my arm and fingers was excruciating. I was misdiagnosed by 5 doctors before a Neurosurgeon, without any tests, looked at me for about 5 seconds and knew what the problem was.
Yes. It also serves other purposes and should be given only to patients whose symptoms and co-existing conditions match.
On some cases I use it on patients with severe pain caused for example by a dental cavity pending treatment or a throat infection (combined with the proper antibiotic and/or anti-inflammatory treatment) to relief pain for the first day.
What causes uterine region pain and cramping?
Many women experience this with a normal period. If it occurs outside of this time or is causing disruption to normal activities it may need to be investigated by a doctor. Endomentriosis is fairly common in women, it is a condition where the lining of the uterus grows outside of the uterus. It can cause cramps, heavy periods and pain outside of the time when a woman is menstruating.

Is there anything that can be done about stomach pains and cramping as a side effect of the depo?
I find taking a bath usually helps. You could also eat or drink something, though some things will upset your stomach instead of soothing the pain. Warm milk is usually soothing, but different things work for different people.

Your dysthymia and muscle ache may not be associated, if so, I suggest you consult a neurologist. I have Focal Dystonia (writers cramp), one of four different types, no muscle aches, but none the less a neurologic disorder. Most M.S. patients experience muscle spasms intermittently, regardless of diagnosis, you may have a neurologic disorder associative to the aches and so called personality disorder???.
Was Donnie Wahlberg in house of pain video?

Why does ear pain while take off and landing?
When a plane takes off the air pressure inside the plane will drop. Behind your ear drums there is pocket of air (think of your head as an inflated balloon). When the pressure outside your head gets lower than the pressure inside your ear drums will bulge outwards a little, which is painful. Moving your jaw about, chewing gum, yawning etc can help open up the canal between your ears and the back of your throat, which will equalize the pressure.
Landing is the same, but in reverse. The pressure inside will be lower, so the eardrums will bulge inwards. You can try pinching your nose and then trying to blow through it. This sould force some air in there and equalize the pressure.
Neck pain can be caused from a variety of conditions. If you sleep in the wrong position, it may make your neck sore and stiff. A herniated disc may also be to blame for any pain in the back of the neck.
There are a few reasons why a person may have pain on their left side between the ribs and the hip. It could be kidney stones or even an infection. A doctor is the only person who can diagnose this problem.

Why are pain receptors found in the epidermis?
The epidermis is the outer layer of the skin. Since it is the first in line to make contact with the external environment, it is important for it to sense danger or harm, and that is through pain.

What is wrong when pain is only located in the buttock and not the thigh area?
Pain in the buttock could be caused by many conditions. Most frequently this is a simple case of sacroiliac joint disfunction or hypertonic gluteal musculature. The fact that the pain does not travel into the thigh suggests that this is not a severe problem; usually the further the pain travels down the leg, the worse the underlying cause. Of course, based purely on a one sentence description, no one can be certain of the problem. Someone with pain as described above has two general options: 1) wait and see if it gets better, as it probably will over time 2) see a trained health care professional (eg: chiropractor) to get a diagnosis and see if the pain can be alleviated sooner than natural history will provide.
If the pain does not get better as soon as you would like, or gets worse over time, your best course of action would be to see a health care professional.
These are cysts of the peritoneal area and often are in the mesentery and omentum near the small intestine. They are one of the rarest of abdominal tumors. They may originate in lymph glands, but can be different types of cysts with different causes, too. The most common initial symptom is lower abdominal pain, but often manifest also with vomiting and constipation. The symptoms may come on very suddenly. These can be very large before they are noticed or cause symptoms, often the "size of a child's head", but they can be both smaller or larger than that.
There are no medical conservative treatments and usually surgical treatment is the only option. 50-60% of children with mesenteric cysts require a portion of the bowel to be removed with the cyst to assure all tissue left is normal, but this is only needed in approximately one third of adult cases.
Surgical removal usually involves excision of the entire cyst, but sometimes that isn't possible due to the location or size of the tumor. With the prenatal ultrasounds being done, these can now be found while the fetus is still in the uterus, although no "in utero" surgical treatment can be given at this time. Surgery will usually be scheduled during early infancy to prevent potential complications such as intestinal obstruction.
They can recur after surgery, but infrequently. According to Medscape.com:
"Overall results in pediatric patients are favorable. The recurrence rate ranges from 0-13.6%, averaging about 6.1% in a series of 162 adults and children. Most recurrences occur in patients with retroperitoneal cysts or those who had only a partial excision. Essentially, no mortality is associated with mesenteric or omental cysts in children; only one pediatric death has been reported since 1950. In a series from Egleston Children's Hospital in Atlanta, no major postoperative complications, recurrences, or deaths occurred."

Considering your age, I think you should see a doctor.
