Yes, it causes rashes. I bought a bottle and washed my sons work clothes and socks with Purex. He came down with swollen ankles and could hardly walk. Missed work and we could not figure it out. Why the feet, ankles and legs were swollen. Then he wore his work shirts, came home and his neck had welts all round his neck and back. Now rewashing all of his laundry to get the Purex out his clothes. I guess when you the manufacture puts Rat Poison in their product...its no wonder people have rashes and get ill. My son's feet are still swollen and the rash is still visible. Be careful with this product.

It certainly could. While not at the top of the list, honey allergies, especially to unfiltered honey, are not at all uncommon, and manifest as you describe. If you start to react strongly, or have trouble breathing, it's 911 time. If it's just a rash, cease the honey and try an antihistamine (I like Diphenhydramine for this one).
