To make your scar disappear, I recommend using aloe vera gel.
Do fungal infections come and go or do they have to be treated?
The majority of skin, nail, or scalp fungal ailments need treatment. Your physician will be able to correctly identify what type of fungal infection you have and thereby prescribe the optimal therapeutic cream/ointment.

What is the red rash that's a ring on my lower back that does not itch?
It could very well be the shingles adult version of chicken pox. You should seek medical advice as soon as you can as the shingles is highly contiguous to others, also it will rule out anything else that it may/not be.
What kind of doctor takes care of athlete's foot?
Primary care providers normally take care of athlete's foot and other fungal infections of your skin. In most areas of the US, this also means you'll start treatment much faster than if you wait months for a dermatology appointment!
What causes a rash on the inside of your thigh with no itch?
It could be irritated skin among other things. The products you currently use to wash you face, cream, shampoo (washes on your face), they could have chemicals in them that are irritating. It could be a reaction to your workplace, foods, products you use. Usually an itch like this indicates that you have a pinched nerve located on your spinal cord somewhere. Most of the time it will eventually go away on its own, but sometimes could take awhile. The nerves on your spinal cord are connected to different parts of your body so it is hard to tell which nerve is pinched without looking at a reference book about the nervous system.
Has anyone experienced a sweat rash that will not go away and spreads on stomach back and shoulders?
I get a sweat/heat rash on my back and shoulders and for years the only relief was a girlfriend with long fingernails. But now I've found something else...
#1 - I switched to 100% cotton Fruit of the Loom Tshirts, this helped alot. Shirts with polyester or DryFit (fancy name for polyester) hold in heat as they are like a plastic bag.
#2 - A friend recommended i try Selsun Blue shampoo on my back and shoulders. I did it on one for a week and compared to the other it was about 90% better, so now im doing both.
I had to pass this on as this bothered me everyday in the summer and I was soooooo happy to find relief.
I get it also and sometimes it doesent go away for a ratehr long time. What i found helped me (which is wierd) is baby powred. i have large breasts and used to get them in between and on my uped stomach. really bad looking. so to get rid it i washed vigurousely with regular tough sope and tehn dusted myself a bit with baby powred to keep the are dry. worked like a charm... and since i work with babies, i had a way to explain the baby smell. =)
I get red blotches on my stomach and back area after I have an intense work out. I run 5 hard miles on the treadmill and sweat profusely. This just started happening a few weeks ago and I have been running for about 20 years. I don't know why. At first I thought they were chicken pox, but larger and they don't itch and seem to disappear by the end of the day. I'm a 38 year old, female.
I get small patches of discolouration, mostly after exercise and sweating, especially in the summer. It dies down pretty quickly, but will hang around for several days, and is worse if I don't lose the sweaty shirt promptly. Seems like it started about eight years ago. Doesn't bother me - apart from the appearance - but would be nice to know what it is and get rid of it. (Probably a doctor would be good for that!)
Use Canesten Hydrocortisone cream. It'll take it away in no time. (Go to their website if you don't believe me
If the problem really doesn't go away, it might be Tinea Versicolor. It's a discoloration of the skin, and it's enhanced from sweating and working out. I'm 17, and I still have mine, which started in 8th grade, so that's 5 years. The doctors have given me many medicines to help it, both oral pills and topical creams, but nothing has really helped. They are usually more noticable in the Summer. Mine started on the stomach, and have spread to my back and upper chest, so mainly my whole torso.
It wouldn't be syphillis or HIV. Syphillis causes a small sore that goes away after a couple of weeks. It will cause another rash within a couple of months or more, that is dark and round - usually on the plams of your hands or the bottoms of your feet. I can't think of anything having to do with HIV that would cause a white rash that appears in lines. Have you lost a lot of weight recently? Could it simply be stretch marks? Could it be an ingrown hair or some other irritation that is chaffing? If it looks like dry skin, try a moisturizer and see if it goes away after a week or two. If you're very concerned, go see a Doctor. Depending on how athletic you, are your inner thighs could be rubbing against each other chaffing especially when it is hot. Use gold bond power. You want to be careful of any fungal infection. They love warm body temps.
You're damaging your skin! Stop with the sun tanning and look after your skin. Water is important for our bodies, so you could have damaged one to two layers of skin (depending on how bad the burn was). Take a cup of Epson Salts (put boiling water into the cup of Epsom Salts to melt) and pour into a tepid bath (do not add anything else to the bath water) and soak for 20 minutes to half an hour. Epson Salts does not burn and it will help the sunburn or rashes a great deal. REMEMBER ... TEPID WATER, NOT THE USUAL WARM TO HOT WATER A PERSON TAKES WHEN HAVING A BATH.
could be an allergy like water blisters but hard to say without seeing it go to your doctor and show him/her so that u can get a topical ointment to resolve it.
What is the skin rash I'm getting on my arms and face with small white bumps?

You got a rash under your belly what is it?
Most rashes in pregnancy are harmless to the mother and baby, although the itch can actually keep women up at night. Some rashes run in families, so if you have it, your mother and grandmother may have gone through the same thing.
Heat rash in pregnant women is very common, at any time in the pregnancy. Rashes can also be caused by a rapidly expanding belly.
The most common rash/skin condition is pruritic uticarial pupules and placques of pregnancy (PUPPP) also called polymorphic eruption of pregnancy. Usually found in women in their third trimester. It is not associated with any other conditions of pregnancy. Again, harmless but annoying. 70% of the women who develop this rash are pregnant with a boy! The cause and effect are not known.
As always, any concerns you have during pregnancy should be brought up with your OB doc.
Your doctor may be able to recommend a topical cream if the itch is severe.
Can ortho tri-cyclen cause a rash?

>>>yo just to let you all know it is bactria not anythin good so feel sorry sucker so if u have it then feel sorry for u. <<<I vary to differ with this previous poster's comment. You have a 'herald patch', which is the start of a fungal infection called pityriasis. This condition readily responds to antifungals. Just get your doctor to prescribe an antifungal treatment, or ask your pharmacist. There are many over-the-counter remedies at the drug store. And for the record, Fungus is very different than Bacteria.
Ringworm won't kill you, but can start infections that could be deadly. Untreated ringworm can result in an acute infection that may produce running sores on the scalp or painful blisters on the feet.

You may have a case of pigmented purpuric dermatitis. If it's not going away, check with your doctor. It's not a serious issue, but this discoloration could also be a symptom of something else - a medical practitioner should diagnose this issue vs. someone on the internet!
