What are the words to Loch Lomond?
By yon bonnie banks and by yon bonnie braes,
Where the sun shines bright on Loch Lomond,
Where me and my true love were ever wont to gae
On the bonnie, bonnie banks o' Loch Lomond.Chorus: O ye'll tak the high road and I'll tak' the low road
An' I'll be in Scotland afore ye:
But me and my true love will never meet again
On the bonnie, bonnie banks o Loch Lomond. We'll meet where we parted in yon shady glen,
On the steep, steep side o' Ben Lomond,
Where in purple hue the Hieland hills we view,
And the moon looks out frae the gloamin. ChorusO brave Charlie Stuart! dear to the true heart.
Wha could refuse thee protection
Like the weeping birch on the wild hillside,
How graceful he looked in dejection! Chorus The wild birdies sing and the wild flowers spring.
An' in sunshine the waters are sleepin;
But the broken heart it kens, nae second spring,
Tho' the waefu' may cease frae their greetin'!Chorus
What facial features do norwegian people have?
Don't be racist, please. Norwegian people are like any other European people.
Of course they have some common characteristics as a nation. Squared rectangle face shape. High rounded cheekbone. Eyebrow with only slight arch. Narrow almond eye with gradual downward slant to outer edge. Widish straight line mouth with slighty less than moderate lip fullness. Square jaw and prominent chin (cleft chin is common). Straight mid to longish nose with tip and nostrils ending flush and with not much nostril flare. Hair color commonly ranging through ashy blondes and browns (light and dark). Eyes are often grey, blue, green. Skin is fair without a propensity toward ruddiness or freckling, with a stronger propensity to tan than the Anglo skin-type. Obviously these are not hard rules, but in regards to the initial respondent's comments in the above line I have say that saying "Norwegian people are like any other European people" is comparable to saying Nigerian people are like any other African people. (i.e. Somalians, Moroccans and Nigerians all look distinctly different)
Why do Scottish people wear plaid?
Plaid is fabric woven into a pattern called a tartan, and tartans pertain to specific family groups called clans. In Scotland, people wear tartans to show kinship with, or to honor a clan.
The identification of specific tartans to Highland clans only occurred at the beginning of the 19th century following a romantic revival. Prior to this tartan was produced in a region and worn by anyone in the locality whatever their clan and some of them were just numbered. They are generally only worn on formal occasions.

no! scottish salmon is farmed Atlantic salmon. NEVER buy farmed salmon! The fish farmers dye the food the fish eat, so they get a pink meat color. It's not natural at all. If the salmon you're buying doesn't say, what kind it is, don't buy it! the five kinds of wild salmon are- King or Chinook, Silver or Coho, Dog or Chum, Pink or Humpie, and the most poplar, Red or Sockeye. Any other name is farmed salmon and should be avoided at all costs, for your own health and safety.
