Do corn snakes get aggressive during shedding?
yes avoid them they are highly aggressive and poisonous.
______________________________________________
They are NOT poisonous, they are constrictors. Do some research. I personally have never had any agression problems from my snake even during shedding, but he does hide more. I would recommend leaving your snake peaceful while shedding, (and my friend has never had any from his).
A cornsnake bite is not really some-thing you need to worry about anyway.
Their teeth do little damage and barely hurt, the only problem would be the shock of the fact it did bite you.
Is it bad for chickens to eat snakes?
No, it is not bad for chickens to eat snakes; they are actually a good source of protein and nutrients for chickens.
In the spring and summer, you may notice that your backyard hens occasionally find and eat small snakes, such as black snakes, in the garden and yard. These are typically young snakes that have recently hatched and therefore are small and tender enough for consumption by chickens.
At first it may look as though a hen has found a very large worm, but upon closer inspection you can verify that it is indeed a snake she is eating.
Nope - chickens are vegetarians ! A snake, however would probably eat the chicken !
How does a sidewinder snake drink water?
Yes they do. All reptiles need water - just as we do. How they get it varies across the species. Some drink from pools, others get enough moisture from their food to avoid having to actively drink.
Corn snakes eat a variety based on preference. Mice, rats, chicks, baby bunnies, quial eggs, etc. Somtimes a snake will refuse to eat anything but what their particular taste calls for. Sometimes this is trial and error, which can be frustrating. I and most herp owners recommend frozen then thawed mice/baby rats for an adult corn snake. Corn snakes can even be particular as to what kind of mice they're eating, be it African soft furred mice, white mice, colored mice, etc. Like i sad, trial and error. good luck =]
How does the corn snakes adapt to its habitat?
Snakes respond to their environment by reacting to the temperature. The snakes for example will find a hole to make its home if the surface is too hot. Also, the snake will shed its skin more frequently if it is in an unusually hot environment.
its probably ok if it will eat it. i cornsnakes eat mice or rats though. sometimes small birds

Are there any dangerous snakes or spiders in Fiji?
The Bole Snake is the only venomous land snake in Fiji. There are also several species of venomous sea snakes in Fiji as well.
Yes, but worms don't provide much nutritional value. If you were feeding a garter snake worms you should dust the worm with a supplement prior to feeding, from a reptile or pet store.
no. snakes are not scavengers. they wont eat plants either. mostly they hunt just live animals.
No because they are not scavengers but they do kill the animal before they eat it so I guess maybe they do eat dead animals
What snake smells like cantaloupe?
Copperheads This is, in fact, myth. Copperheads do not smell like cucmber and rattlesnakes do not smell like watermelon.
What is the food chain for a snake?
Chameleons have very long sticky tongues that they can shoot out of their mouths for a long way. They remain very still and when they see an insect near them they move very slowly towards it rocking back and forth to look like a leaf in the wind. When they get into range, their tongue shoots out and sticks onto the insect which is then drawn into the chameleons mouth and swallowed. The process is fascinating to watch!

Do corn snakes get ticks often?
All snakes bite, especially when they are young and think everything is food. Corn snakes like most colubrids and will musk (release a very strong scent from their glands in their vent) prior to biting if found in the wild. If the snake is captive, the more you handle it the more "tolerant" it will become and by virtue will bite and musk less.
No. A heat lamp or undertank heater should suffice if the room the tank is in is below 65 degrees F. Uv lights are usually for more fragile reptiles, such as chameleons. The heat lamp(if that is what u choose to use) cannot be the only source of light for the snake, though. They will need other sources of light, which they should be exposed to already if they are played with regularly.
What might happen if the snake was eliminated?
If the snake was eliminated or went extinct, it might sound good as there'll be no more snakebites and snake poison. The lizards and frogs are insectivores and they try to get rid of some nasty insect pests. The snake eat these small insectivores, which is another snake impact as it allows more nasty insects pests to survive, so that's another good thing about snake extinction. Some carnivorous birds of prey like the owl, parrot, kite, hawk, eagle eats the snake but they'll still be fine as they still have other food to eat. There's hardly any negative outcomes about snake extinction.
By the way, there's a 5-linked food chain with a snake which is:
Grass>Grasshopper>Frog>Snake>Hawk
Food Chain Explanation: The grasshoppers eat the grasses, the frogs eat the grasshoppers, the snakes eat the frogs and the hawks eat the snakes.
Food Chain Trophic Precedence:
Grass-Producer
Grasshopper-Primary Consumer
Frog-Secondary Consumer
Snake-Tertiary Consumer (Apex Prey)
Hawk-Quaternary Consumer (Apex Predator)
Not necessarily it usually eats the baby eggs by the way im only 11 and i know this
