Will margins of error for sample of size 80 be larger or smaller than those for sample size of 40?
They should be smaller for the sample size 80.
What is the least 6 digit number whose digit in ten thousand place is 6?
Greater than zero: 160000
If negative numbers are considered (less), then -969999.
It is a graphical representation of a collection of data.
Is cluster sampling is a type of stratified random sampling?
No. Cluster sampling and stratifed random sampling are different, though often confused. (They may, however, be used in conjunction in some sampling designs.) Both are types of random sampling.
STRATIFIED sampling involves identifying a variable that will break up your population into separate homogeneous groups (homogeneous in terms of the variable you are interested in). For example, suppose you want to know about the attitudes of kids about their future. Perhaps you have reason to believe this will change with time. If you collected a sample from high schools, you could stratify by grade, giving you 4 relatively homogeneous groups: freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors. Then, a common approach is to sample a similar number from each group.
Sometimes, though, separating the groups isn't so clear cut. Perhaps you want to stratify based on religion. You can't tell this from looking at a person. So perhaps you collect sample data and apply strata after the fact! This can be useful, but there are some statistical techniques that require equal (or nearly) sample sizes for the strata.
CLUSTER sampling involves breaking your population into fairly similarly sized groups called clusters (try googling MSE for an example). But now you want each cluster to contain a heterogeneous mix of individuals. Then, you take a random selection of these clusters and completely enumerate inside of those selected clusters. The problem with cluster sampling is that the cluster has now become your sample unit, instead of individuals which is what you probably hoped. This can be used for counting species, or just for contacting certain populations like apartment dwellers, nursing home residents, etc. The clusters could be apartment buildings in a city. So instead of taking a random sample of apartment dwellers, you would actually randomly select a few of the buildings and talk to everyone inside! Often, this is much more cost efficient. :)
How do you do the median of a number?
1. Put the set of numbers in order.
2. look for the middle number overall.
3. You just did it.
********************************
1.Put all the numbers in order from least to greatest
2. Cross off the first number in the set.
3. Cross off the last number in the set.
4. Continue with this process until there is only one number left. That is the median.
How many ways can you arrange the digits 985 with four dif numbers?
985,958,895,859,589,598. It should be 6.
Hope I helped.

How do you find the values by substituting numbers for variables?
Example: A + B = C. Here is a formula with 3 variables and an operation (addition).
Word problem using the example: There are 2 dogs: One dog eats 2 snacks and the other dog eats 5 snacks. What is the total number of the snacks eaten by the 2 dogs?
Let the first dogs snacks be represented by the variable A and let the second dogs snacks be represented by the variable B., and the total number of snacks eaten by the 2 dogs be represented by the variable C.
---
A (The first dogs snacks.) + B (The second dogs snacks.) = C ( The total number of snacks eaten by the 2 dogs.) 2 snacks eaten + 5 snacks eaten = 7 snacks eaten. . A + B = C, A = 2, B = 5, 2 + 5 = 7, C = 7.
----
If you knew the total snacks eaten and also knew the number of snacks eaten by one dog, your equation would look something like this.
C(Total snacks eaten), A( first dogs snacks), B(second dogs snacks. unknown.)
A + B = C, 2 + B = 7, B = [ 7 - 2], B = 5.

What is a Distribution method?

What do you learn from identifications of individuals and population?
The identification of people and population can help researchers learn about similar characteristics between certain individuals of the same population. Population is defined as a group of people living in an area, interacting with each other constantly.
