How do you fix a timing chain How do you know if you have a bent valve?
You don't fix it, you replace it. Replace the belt according to the schedule in your owner's manual. If it breaks and your engine is an interference engine, you will 95% of the time have damage. You will know the extent of the damage when the engine is torn down. ---------- Saturns do not have a timing belt, they have a chain, as stated in the question. Symptoms of bent valve will show on a leakdown test or engine simply will not run.
How do you transpose chords to b flat trumpet sheet music?
You can't
It depends on what you mean. The B-flat trumpet plays one full tone below concert pitch, so to make the tone match, you must play one step higher. In other words, a C on the piano is a D on the trumpet.
Chords work the same way. A C chord on the piano is a D chord on the trumpet. However, the trumpet can play only one note at a time, so a single trumpet cannot play a chord, but can play single notes of the chord.
How can the trumpet produce sound and how does the pitch change?
Trumpets produce sounds by buzzing your lips into a mouthpiece connected to the trumpet. the faster you buzz your lips, the higher pitch the sound, the slower, the lower. the pitch can also change by pushing down the valves in different combonations

Which oil do you need for a 91 V6 Jimmy?
This information can be found in your owner's manual. If you don't have one, you can order one from a dealer. You may also find one at a salvage yard. I have a 91 S-15 Jimmy 4x4...4.3L...and I run 10W30 Valvoline in it year round. Depends on driving conditions and weather. 5w30 is a good middle of the road oil. Make sure the oil you use meets API standards. I just use 5w 30 year around. Especially in the cold weather it circulates easier. Honestly your owners manual should say 5w 30. However that is the manufacturers suggested oil for when the car was made. What weight oil you use especially for older cars should be based upon how many miles you have on it. If it's a 91 I'd say you have over 100k on the clock. Use 10w 30 year round. If you want in the summer you can use 10w 40 because oil tends to run thicker in the summer. If you notice any oil leaks then up the weight to 10w 40 and 20w 50 in the summer or use an oil additive such as Lucas.
The second trumpet is a section in an orchestra. It plays harmony to the first trumpet. The same way the seconds violins play harmony to the first violins.
First, remember to hold down the valve before moving the slide. If you can get the slide off (by pulling gently), then I would suggest wiping off the slide and applying some slide grease. Note that this is not the same as valve oil. If you don't have slide grease, try asking a trombone player if you can borrow a little bit.
If you still cannot get the slide to go all the way back in, take it to a repair shop. Never try to force one piece of an instrument into another - you risk doing permanent damage.
Can you play a trumpet after eating chocolate?
yes you could but you might get chocolate inside the trumpet and in your mouthpiece making a big mess. So the smart thing would be to brush your teeth or not eat chocolate before you play a trumpet.
How many different sounds can you get from the trumpet?
You can get many different sounds from a trumpet, from the notes A, Bb, B, C, Db, D, E, Eb, F, Gb, G, and Ab. and each of those notes can be played at different octaves. you can also make a goat/horse sound by half pressing a combination of the valves down. to make these sounds my personal preference is 2nd and 3rd valves and if you try to play lower than the low G# you get into peddeltons, which many peoples say sound like farts.
Is the Bach TR500S made in China?
yes i just found out, the Bach TR500S is made in china, as are all the new student and intermediate trumpets from Bach, Selmer, and Yamaha
How does a Bach Omega trumpet rate?
It was made by Selmer and is a Strad 37 clone but with a two piece bell.
It was the intermediate below the Bach Strad but you cant really comment on a trumpet unless you can play it. Quality wise it was a well made instrument. The sound was a bit brighter than the Strad. A good student step up instrument.
Where is the model number located on a trumpet?
They're usually on the bell or on the 2nd valve casing (the outside part of the 2nd valve)
It's a cheap instrument, not a good value. Look for King, Bach, Getzen or Olds trumpets. They are great in quality, especially the vintage ones.

Why do trumpet mouthpieces come in different cup sizes?
the shallower the moth peice, generally the higher the person can play. but the shallower the mouth peice usualy means worse tone quality with the lower range. begginers usually use a 7C Bach (there's two different size scales, the Bach and the Yamaha) i use a 3C, it gives me good lower middle and upper tone quality, but i dont usually play high. The lead trumpet player in my jazz band uses a 14A4, but he does all the high pitch squealing
What year was selmer Manhattan trumpet with serial number of R6O84 made?
1970 would be way off. You can't leave the R in front of the number off. This was during a time when Selmer outsourced manufacturers, Czech, German and American. My research leads me to assume that those with RXXXX were most likely made in the 30's, whereas the serial numbers with 5 numbers after the R were probably made in the 40's. Since records are virtually non-existent, this can only be considered guesswork. Until we brass collectors pool our resources on the subject, we can only go by design of horn, case, and possibly included mouth piece and papers. I have read that some of the 'Manhattans' did NOT have the R in front, so possibly those had a different manufacturer.
