The Bel Ami "actor of the month" poll was won for more than a year by Pavel Novotny (Max Orloff) even when he wasn't work any more for them. His fans were named the "Orlovians" (in tribute to is name - Orloff).
Yahoo, circa 2002/2004, had, at least, 12 groups dedicated exclusively to Pavel.
Any single little new picture of him was sent astonishly through the net.
There were news about a new carrer in gay porn, adversited also in a new internet site.
Abruptly, in 2004, he retires porn until now, with no news about him at all.
During month, every single material about him was deleted from many net servers by some guy who proclaimed to be the owner of all Pavel audio-visual material rights. Many groups were deleted and links were deleted.
Untill now, there isn's a slightest clue about where he is, what he is doing, will him return to porn...
I presume that Novotny was a "victim" of his lousy/bad agent(s). He had all the potential to be a porn legend (well, with his short passage in the porn business, he already is), like Ken Ryker, Jeff Stryker, Rocco Siffredy, Ron Jeremy, etc... But, unfortunately, he wasn't properly promoted.

Pavel Novotny does not exist as a "real" person. He never did. That name was just one of several pseudonymns used by a Czech Actor/Model during the time he worked in the Porn Industry. This person is no longer in that Industry, does not intend to return to it and was only ever in it because it was a way of making money quickly to help his family, when he was too young to realise how difficult it would be to move away from it. He lives in the Czech Republic and works very hard in a job he enjoys, which has nothing to do with Porn, He is now 31 years old and in a steady relationship with a girl he has known for years. He is not and never has been "Gay" other than for pay!
The decision to leave the Porn Industry was his alone. He was not interested in being "promoted" any longer. In the many Groups and Forums which were removed from the www on his behalf, much of that which was said was utter rubbish and bore no relation to the truth. "Pavel Novotny" was just an acting role he undertook ...nothing like the real person at all, other than in looks of course. As with most porn performers he received a one off single payment for each video he appeared in, any profit from the sale of his videos went to the production company. He received no "Royalties" from their sales. As with all such material, it is a breach of Copyright law to reproduce clips and stills from these without the written permission from the Copyright Owner. That is the reason material was removed and is still being removed from websites.

According to international media and Czech authorities, he was arrested in Cuba in 2009 along with a male companion. He was deported in November after spending 6 months in jail there for time served.
